Hey TT, thanks for putting up all this great content. I'm troubleshooting a failed Torque Converter and wanted to ask, when you were able to spin it freely after unbolting from the flywheel, was the transmission in neutral? I believe the gear shift cable was disconnected at that point, but do you remember leaving it in park or did you shift to neutral before beginning the removal? Thanks!

Hahaha all this time I heard you talking about sand in EVERYTHING on this truck. I missed the part you said it was a Florida truck. I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 07.5 MEGA CAB I GOT FROM FLORIDA! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY A TRUCK FROM FLORIDA, ITS TEXAS ONLY FOR ME. SAND EVERWHERE! WET SAND CAUSING RUST. ITS BEEN A BATTLE WITH COMPRESSED AIR AND PRESSURE WASHING.

Tom, did you install your fleese water by pass before or after the transmission was pulled as I'm looking to do so. I'm wondering where the hookups go on the transmission when you delete the cooler on the side of the block. Thanks in advance.

Hey brother looking at buying a 12 model with 130k but the trans is shifting hard just didn’t know if it’s a good idea or not to buy one with this symptom also it sat for a day and when in reverse it was very hesitant before it engaged. After that it was fine. Thanks in advance

Shifting hard could be the tuning and what not, mine will sometimes clink of you will going into 4th, always has. Hesitant to go into reverse could mean it needs fluid or new trans filters
