@@DTF_Motorsports thank you! Loved the vid on dcr swap. You have given me the confidence to tackle it myself and I’ve never done anything to that magnitude in my shop (average driveway mechanic) thank you for the tools layout!! Keep up the awesome work

What do u do with the ccv sensor wire harness.
@DTF_MotorsportsАй бұрын
most trucks that sensor does not do anything. If your truck is deleted it is obsolete and doesn't do anything. If it is not ford had updates that actually turned off that sensor also. So if you unplug it and don't get a check engine light you are good to go. If you do I have cut the end of the hose right after the sensor and put that end piece back on the intake and put the rubber cap over the end of that just so I could plug the sensor back in. If that makes sense

I bought one that was $80 and honestly like it a lot better than this design, it extends out over the fuel lines with a 90 so the hose isn’t rubbing on those fuel lines or anything around there
@DTF_Motorsports8 ай бұрын
The one on my personal truck has a 90 also but there is a reason they designed it like this. Having it go over the brake booster gives it an up hill slope for like the first 10 inches of the hose which greatly reduces the chance of oil making it way out of the hose and leaking on the ground. I have the one with the 90 on mine and the internal catch can but once in a great while after I’m pulling my loaded trailer I will get a couple drops in my garage. I think if my hose was like this kit it wouldn’t do that.

Yeah mine goes over the break booster too, personally I don’t mind a couple oil drops but I could definitely see how that would drive people nuts😂

Can’t believe I got scammed with buying from spelabs! Thanks for telling me.

@@boomer9341 yeah sadly it happens a lot. I have customers bring there own parts thinking they got a better price then what I quoted them and then they show up and I tell them I’m not installing that and end up having to buy through me anyways. I used there stuff one time and everything leaked so never again
