I'm not a Muslim woman but felt led to watch this. You are so right with men. Sadly I was married to a Narcissist man and once I started to not always do what he wanted, he looked for another woman. He left 2 years ago for a woman half my age. I'm 54 and remained single since. My faith is Messianic/Christian but I'm starting to wear head coverings. Be blessed. Find common ground. Peace.

It's hard to identify a lot in a person unless you really know them - but if you choose someone with the same faith as you, at least you know you're sharing some fundamental values. I'm not married yet, but it feels like there's only so much you can know (that should be enough to give you an idea of the person) then you get married - and figure out the rest. A person's habits is sort of an indicator of their general behaviour right?

Great video Nafisa! Some extra advice for ma sisters: - Never force yourself to see the good in a man. Your intuition is usually right. - The way you meet your husband says a lot about him (and about you). Meeting him on a night out, on the streets, in the club is NOT a good start. - For the sister that reached an age you think its ‘too old’ to still be unmarried: don’t marry a man with flaws you cant handle because you’re afraid to end up alone. Its deen over dunya, so live a life with Allahs satisfaction alone is better than being married to a guy that has a bad influence on you.

InshaAllah, a religious practicing Muslim will treat his wife like a princess, due to the fact that the Prophet Muhammad saws said: “The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character. And the best of you are those who are best to their women.”(At-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani). and he saws said: “The best among you is the best towards his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives.” (Ibn Majah and authenticated by Al-Albani). the Prophet saws also said: “And I command you to take care of the women in a good manner “al-Bukhari, Hadith 5186 hence, a religious muslim man will try to treat her wife as kindly as possible. make good dua for me please. Greetings, sister. I come from a Muslim family. I am no longer in my 20's and have people left and right insisting me and my identical twin sister hurry up and get married. Most of these family members just want a party to attend, some just are in a hurry to see grandchildren be born within our large family circle. I am not given the option to take my time or choose whom I like/want because of my age, and that really puts me off. I would like to highlight some points 1. I am not in a hurry to get married 2. I am a practicing Muslim women, who has very modern point of view 3. I am very independent due to growing up with a restricted lifestyle and brothers+father 4. Being single doesn't make me feel sad, rather, I am content Alhamdulillah If anyone disagrees or feels different, I am sorry, but this is my life and Allah knows my heart better than anyone else. Don't doom girls into marriage or a relationship just because its the necessary as part of your up bringing/culture or personal religious beliefs. May Allah always guide us and protect us from what is bad for us and guide us on a straight path. Ameen

Ready our mind, our strength, our emotions, our everything in life, ready for children, ready for sudden fights, and the most important is ready to be the most important role ever in this world, being a mother. Being a mother is hard tho. 😞 good luck girls. Well im not married but we as girls need to think our future tho, what could possibly happen. 🤣😂 Moreover if you are not ready, then dont. Why? You will make people surround you worry and you will likely a burden to them. So its better to be ready tho.

I think Muslim man has very less responsibilities that's why ppl never teach us that part n rather keep their focus on women cuz she not only has to look after children in each n every way...but also to please her husband. Man only provide financial service. I haven't seen in my whole family n dawah community as well that what else they do.....except for financial services every other thing is a woman responsibility
@olaadali9325 жыл бұрын
@@amnafarooq9173 no need to fabricate sister. I have never heard a shiekh say that a Muslim man doesn't need to make his wife happy. The Muslim man not only has to provide(which is a big deal because some men have to work 12hrs a day) but PROTECT his family and LEAD his family. The wife can work but can't let her work get in the way of her responsibilities in the family. If the man is working 8 or 10 or 12 hours a day, the wife can certainly do her responsibilities during that time frame as well. And when the husband comes home, he can help out if he's not really tired.

As we are brothers and sisters in Islam, I feel compelled to give the sisters some tips on what to look for, by no means is it a perfect list. 1) Don't go for a man who swears a lot 2) a man that is obsessed with Hip Hop and rap 3) a man who argues in religion when there is a difference of opinion and who will not go to a sheikh so he uses Islam as a whip 4) a man who does not have any teachers of Islam 5) a man who cuts off his family, etc. We are not perfect but, but the more you check off this list the safer it will be for you.

As a revert I gave a huge pain to my family. My mom got sick, and she told me that if she is gonna die is because of me, my dad when I talked about the possibility to revert fall on his knees took my shirt and cried and begged to not do it. I remember that day so vividly in my head, I have never saw my dad crying, I have never saw such a dispare. Since then he doesn’t look at me in the eyes, and soon I’ll have to go away from home. I hurt my family so much because of Islam, I saw my family parents crying and crying and getting worried and sick. They asked me to not marry a Muslim and even tho they won’t ever accept me as a Muslim marrying one would be the total end for them. Call me weak but I can’t do this to my family. I want them happy and I don’t want my family to be separate forever. My dad is very traditional then, we are Greek and the Islamic empire killed our nation and he can’t get over the fact he should pass his heredity to the ones that killed his family. For that I think I’ll marry a non Muslim and also because it’s hard to find good Muslim guys nowadays. I think what matters is love and respect. I’ll teach my kids islam one day but they will be free to choose. Will I go to hell for that ?. Idk and I will be scared for the day till I’m gonna die. But I just cannot do that to my family.

Anna Artemis I think this is a test for you, where if it comes to it, who will you give preference to, Allah or your family? It is well known that there is NO obedience to anyone if it means disobedience to Allah. If you were to leave Islam for your family, I think somewhere down the line you would regret it. I understand that it's very difficult not to see your family happy with your decision however on the day of judgement even your mother will run away from you. They will say that they did not force you to leave the right path, it was your decision. Clearly from what you have written, I think you know that Islam is the truth but perhaps the pressure is just a bit much on you. Allah says "Do you think that you can say you believe and not be tested? Indeed I tested those before you.....". This is your time to show Allah that your love and obedience to him is what matters to you most. As for your family, show them that Islam has made you a better person, daughter. Treat them with utmost respect kindness and love and pray for them that they too will be guided aright. I'm going to be honest with you, leaving the right path is not the right thing to do. Perhaps if you remain strong your family may be guided too. You may think it's easy for me to say but I've also had my fair share of family members discouraging me from practising islam although I come from a Muslim family so I do understand your struggles to some extent. At the end of the day, I was kind to them, never answered them back, heard them out when they sat me down to give me the "don't do it" talk but I will be in my grave alone, stand before Allah alone and receive my judgement alone so I chose to stick to my deen even if they don't like it because this life is not all there is.

You said it, Nafisa. At the end, it's you who are alone and you who will be facing what you have done all that time you were alive. Allah created us to test us and He knows what we can bear and what we cannot well. May Allah make things easy for you, Anna, my newly returned sister to Islam. Know that you are never alone as long as you keep Allah in your heart.
@bintadam76276 жыл бұрын
As a muslim we should love and respect our parents. Allah says in the Holy Qur’an: The Lord has decreed that you worship none save Him alone, and behave beneficently towards parents. If either or both of them should attain old age while you are alive, say not `ugh’ to them, nor chide them, and speak kindly to them. Lower to them the wing of humility out of tenderness and pray: Lord have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was little. Quran - (17:25) These verses are most significant on this subject. After the unity of God, human beings should, through their attitude of love, affection, and kindness, give priority over all other things to their parents who have reached an old and difficult age. Further, the verses speak of the situations when the behaviour of one or both of the parents becomes extremely trying and sometimes offensive. In response to that, not even a mild expression of disgust or disapproval should pass one’s lips. On the contrary they should be treated with profound respect. Pray for your parents, make lots of dua and ask Allah swt to guide them and make them accept you wholeheartedly as a muslim. Be patient with them. As sister Nafisa has mentioned this could be a test for you so bear it with patience and prayer. Allaah exhorts His slaves to seek help with patience and prayer when facing calamities that may befall a person. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And seek help in patience and As-Salaah (the prayer) and truly, it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khaashi‘oon [i.e. the true believers in Allaah - those who obey Allaah with full submission, fear much from His punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise) and in His Warnings (Hell)]” [al-Baqarah 2:45] Allaah states that the victory of attaining Paradise and being saved from Hell will be won only by those who are patient, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “Verily, I have rewarded them this Day for their patience; they are indeed the ones that are successful” [al-Mu’minoon 23:111] Allaah tells us that the desire to earn His reward and to turn away from this world and its adornments is attained only by those who are patient and are believers. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “But those who had been given (religious) knowledge said: “Woe to you! The reward of Allaah (in the Hereafter) is better for those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and this none shall attain except those who are As‑Saabiroon (the patient in following the truth)” [al-Qasas 28:80] May Allah swt make everything easy for you and May He swt guide your parents to the right path. Ameen
