Two ideas. 1.Instead of a completely open world instead go for large open levels with a few side quests and collectibles that can be found and give Wolverine a motorcycle as his main transportation since he’s well known for riding them. 2.while I know insomniac is accused of ripping off the Batman Arkham games I do think giving Wolverine a detective vision mode would be a great way to represent his enhanced senses and break up the gameplay a bit with investigating crime scenes and the like.

To add on to your second point just a tiny bit: All three Spider-Man games don't have a detective mode toggle, just a pulse to scan the environment. The in-game explanation is that there are sensors in the mask. Wolverine could use the same environment-scanning pulse, but instead of tech in a mask, it would be Logan taking a big whiff of the air. I know that Logan isn't a stealthy guy, but he'd probably see scent trails that reveal enemies' patrol paths. I'm now in the mood to watch Wolverine and the X-Men again.

I think the game should be somewhat on rails but the different locations you go to for the story have their own mini open worlds. So you hang out in the woods of Canada with a couple small towns and you have a motorcycle to get around and theirs side missions there, you go to the X mansion and there's a surrounding area there etc. Kind of like in Red Dead where the game takes you to Mexico for however many hours for the story and its just a new open world to be in

I want it to be free roam but in a modern red dead 2 feeling world. In a more secluded country setting, but more condensed. Also I want to SEE the healing factor, take away the health bar, make wolverine the health bar. You can tell how close to death you are by how damaged you are, blood, bullet holes, slashes etc, then they'll slowly heal after not being hit for a small amount of time ( hopefully the clothes can become tattered ). I also want wolverine to have a similar mechanic to marvel rise of the imperfects. He can sheathe and unsheathe his claws by holding L2, which would also change the type of damage you do to your opponent and your move set.

One thing I hope is to see the best part of 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine', where Logan goes to different places throughout history, fighting wars and joining Stryker's squad. I want to finally be able to slash soldiers during Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam War, Gulf War, all wars. Exploring human history as an almost immortal man would be great, allowing us to see what really is like to be in his place, seeing everyone you know be gone. We could also have character mentions like Captain America, Magneto, Punisher, Iron Man, Moon Knight, etc. Along with us seeing what Wolverine went through the years, we should see villains also go through it, as we fight them in different times like Sabretooth showing up once in a while to torment you.

The biggest thing I want is a reputation system with NPCs based on whether you choose to fight lethally or nonlethally and against which opponents. Wolverine isn't always tearing fools apart. Sometimes he just unleashes a beating, and sometimes it simply isn't advised or advantageous to whip out the claws. Moral conflict over his past actions is a huge part of his character too, and what better way to communicate this element ofnthe character than by putting you in the middle of that moral dilemma through the gameplay?

I think a small easteregg would be fine in the game ONLY if theres one level playing in Newyork of either Spider-man swinging above Logan for a second or 2 (or perhaps in the distance you see one of the airglide) and Logan saying either "I met that guy before" or "Man, that guy has weird powers" (idk what he would say) BUT it would be unnecessary to involve the Spider-men in bloody murdery battles since they would just try to interfere which logan wouldnt like, but honestly i would be fine wit just a newspaper thing about the Spider-men doing something and Logan commenting on it.

Have this be a free roam and as a side mission have sabertooth try to sneak attack you the whole time and then after the game you have a final showdown(maybe on someone’s birthday) but until then have sabertooth be so sneaky that we free roam and at random times you have a guy jump and attack you from the top of a building or through a paper wall! Do that a bunch through the game and then have a big finish after the game

I'd say the ideal would be Wolverine working for someone who can take him anywhere around the world, where a teleporter just leaves you there and brings you back after the mission is completed. 7:11 It always kinda bugs me that Wolverine's villains outside of Omega Red and Silver Samurai don't really seem capable of putting him down. Omega Red has Carbonadium which can negate healing factors, while Silver Samurai's tachyon blades can cut through adamantium. I can see Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike roughing up Wolverine a bit, but how can they reliably put him down when both possess similar powers to Wolverine (Regeneration and Sharp Claws)?

They should have in option before you enter the game whether you want to have the game censored or uncensored. Obviously they should also have new game plus which makes the game even harder than the base game. Difficulty levels: Neat(Easy) Fair(Normal) Gritty(hard) it’s suppose To be tough give the player a lot of challenges. Health should take a couple of minutes to restore. Brutal(extremely hard) (this level should be unlocked after you beat the game on Hard difficulty and have new game plus) Brutal means the game is not going to take anything easy on you and you better be an expert at this game. for every 3 kills you get your health increase to were your back to full health again. we should also be a able to change the camera ratio, if some of us don't like the default camera ratio then we can zoom out to see our surroundings a bit more. Also Innsomiac please make Logan an edgy angry man like young Kratos.

@@baki484 I rate it a 7 out of 10. The combat and traversal was insanely good. But the game for me was too short,the suits were mid asf except very few W’s. Venom is Harry and I don’t like that,Kraven wasn’t hunting shit because he had everyone else do it for him,MJ missions I hate,side missions and except the flame, and mysterio missions sucked. They kept on going on with the 19 inches of Venom hyping him up like crazy only for us to get only 19 minutes of Venom. Peter with the symbiote felt rushed. I feel like there were like only 3-4 missions with the black suit and very few times shown of Peter acting like a dick. Plus all the pandering. With the hype I had for the game and how much they talked about how crazy good the game was gonna be I ended up underwhelmed.

What I’m most worried about is the gameplay itself, the violence and gore. Star Wars games water down what a lightsaber can do and this game will feel like wolverine is punching rather than slashing with razor sharp claws. I think each arm should have a different attack button, like L2 and R2: move the left stick and press L2 and you may slash up, down left or right, and have some two handed moves. Block can be handled by pressing the attack button and moving one of the sticks in that direction for different block animations. It could make for a skill base game vaguely reminiscent of Metal Gear Rising. You’d need dozens of block, dismemberment, and stab animations to keep the action fresh, hundreds even. I’d gladly pay for that type of dlc. Insomniac will never do this though, so I just wasted 10 mins writing this.

Honestly with the wrinkle in the newest Spider-Man game that Magic was not a confirmed thing in the world until Black Cat stole a teleporting Wand it makes me wonder what exactly the Avengers Roster looks like because if Magic being real is a revelation then Thor isn’t an Avenger. In the Marvel world where villains and heroes are both public knowledge and people can see what they do the fact Miles and Peter were shocked that magic was real tells you everything you need to know. Oh I guarantee you, specially considering X-23 is a female character, they're not only gonna make her a main character in the story, they'll make her more and more of a replacement, until Logan gives up on the title. Eventually he'll come back, but the idea is to make X-23 become the new and better version of Wolverine, just like they did with Peter and Miles. It's an unfortunate reality for Insomniac and there's no denying it.

Knowing insomniac and Sony games these days, they will probably focus on story and graphics with a gameplay that barely scratched the surface in comparison to this game and will leave you bored after a while spent, no combos or in-depth gameplay mechanics but a press square to attack type of "combat". The game will probably be a walkie talkie and mj will be playable. X23 will be introduced and in the sequel Logan will say "who needs Wolverine when theyve got you?"🤣 And then he will take a "break" because his healing isn't as good even though he is in his prime.🤣 And then new gen/I need my hand held gamers will start saying masterpiece and saying insomniac gameplay is better or should I say the lack of it.

Not making it open world is going backwards in my opinion when creating a superhero game, I feel it's important to give the scope of a characters sphere of influence as well as them interacting and influencing the area around them

You can do that without an open world game tbh. Smaller condensed areas can be superior to an open world that lacks that depth.

Wolverine doesn't have an open world to interact with. He's not your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man to solve any problem. At best, he would help out the X-Men, but this is not an X-Men game, so no. The only "open world" you can expect is Wolverine accepting missions around the globe, so at best you'll get levels with small options for sandbox content.

The only blueprint they need at the base and heart of the project is BWS Weapon X, if it doesnt have any of that vibe and goes for the fox-men movies its beyond lame. also the best Wolverine game to ever exist is the original Ninja Gaiden 2 on 360, most incredible blood and dismemberment maybe of all time.

Nobody cares about a vs mode in a superhero game . If your gonna add co op add proper co op like an extra xmen or x 23 . Also if your gonna go the non open world route (which sucks) then atleast make the hub worlds open like god if war and with his bike.
