I was hoping to see you put a large red oak on it with a fork lift! I don’t doubt that it is sturdy enough to handle it! Great build! Better than factory! 👍

I do not have any plans but some of the materials I used are in the description. If you have any special questions I’d be happy to answer them.

amazing build !!! that looks really sturdy , i see people have already asked about plans , did you have anything to go off of for this project , also i really like your tensioner set up is that acme rod you used im in the process of building a mill and i may go offf of what you have done hear do you by any chance have any more in depth video on the tensioner thanks would also love to hear if you have had any problems with your set up thanks

Great job but did you build it for Fort Knox it can double for a trackhoe trailer it won’t bend or break
@whoblowsthere002Ай бұрын
Im trying to figure out my tensioner, and with your design it looks great for tension, but not great for adjusting the angle of the wheel. For your tensioner pillow blocks, did you have to weld the studs allowing very little adjustment of the pillow blocks?

I had one of those exact motors on a Norwood sawmill and it had a major failure. I had to have it rebuilt. The guy who rebuilt it said it was over-revved So basically the rpm was set too high. Which I guess was my fault for not making sure it was set to specs but, I would go with Honda.
@cornettcarpentryАй бұрын
I’ll have to check on that, thanks for watching!
@PlankmillsАй бұрын
@ main thing is just make sure the RPM is set to within specs. I like the mill build, and definitely want to do one someday. What was the paint you used for the metal frame?

Is there an wheel adjustment to change the tracking of the blade?
@cornettcarpentry5 ай бұрын
Yes, I use the slots in the bearing’s housing. Along with some adjustment screws on the adjacent corners

You should never expose the unfiltered welding flash on videos. It is very hard and damaging to our viewing eyes. Good job otherwise.
