Wow. This is the type of video which gets me emotional. A beautiful story, beautiful music, beautiful scenery. Shows what us humans are really capable of. The different cultures, the different landscapes, the different people. All united in 1 thing, that they, we, are all human. These journeys you undertake, they are such beautiful narratives, with I'm sure deep underlying messages. The walk, no, the journey truly represents the passing of time. God Bless. Let us not forget what is true.

Chris, well done, I take my hat off to you. Not only walking that distance - but showing the romantics, that it's not all sun and easy going. Keep it up man, one foot in front of the other. You must see some beautiful sights meet some incredible people. Thing I found in India was just how friendly they were - and being from western Europe - having to realise that they don't all have an ulterior motive. I'd love to be able to take a year out and do what you do - unfortunately - I'm tied down figuratively, with a mortgage to pay. Still I'm luckier than most, with a job that is interesting to me (still), and that I enjoy. Some travel, and it pays well enough. You though, are doing what you want, how you want and when you want. Keep enjoying the stroll.

Christoph, you inspire me ever since the Longest way Through China, and so please excuse my arrogance in giving you some advice, but at 1:35 in this video, all I can think is that you could have brakes installed on your caboose.
@ChristophRehage7 жыл бұрын
Actually, this is some good advice. I might do it later on. :)
@MattRosemier17 жыл бұрын
I think a pair (one on each handle to each wheel) of cable-operated caliper bike brakes could come in handy at times. I think you could rig it up affordably. www.starcyclespares.co.uk/ekmps/shops/clivestar/images/bike-caliper-side-pull-brake-cable-cycle-adjuster-6mm-version-for-steel-brakes-[2]-2785-p.jpg In the old days horse drawn wagons had brakes. Not to slow the horses down, but for going down hills. Btw, I love this video

How can you do that? I mean, how can someone go through so lonely paths for so long time?
@goldentrout48117 жыл бұрын
It's not a lonely path, it's an adventure he meets all kinds of people. People have been doing that since the beginning, living and travelling, settling down, and moving again. The world keeps turning.

Who are you? Golden Trout? Are you Christoph Rehage?
@goldentrout48117 жыл бұрын
You don't like people talking with you?
@marcusbenetti7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I do like people talking to me. But, first of all, my question was made to Christoph Rehage, not to Golden Trout. Secondly, you don't even have a real name and I don't like talking to "things". Why did you answer in his place?
@goldentrout48117 жыл бұрын
I don't have a real name? I don't like talking to "things"? What kind of mentality is that? I answered cause i just felt like it. I will delete my comments in this thread if you want. Just say it and i'll do it.
