Bought your book yesterday out of boredom at an airport and finish reading it within a day. I love your journey as it also reminded me about my own travel experiences, especially trekking in Nepal a few months ago. Life is a journey and you definitely have one full of precious memories and awesome stories. Nothing is impermanence and I hope the walk has taken you where you wanted to go or whatever you were seeking for.

Oh wow, Chris. This is really well done. I did watch the 1st Longest Way, and when Her wasn't in the new walk, or even the before-you-walked this second leg videos, when you were in Germany, I figured something must have happened, but I didn't want to rub salt in a heart wound so I never asked. Thanks for sharing that. It must have been so hard, You are my favorite traveler. Your sense of humor and your relative stability inspire me. I need to go get caught up on your videos... Peace

I liked this animated version of your walk a lot. Please continue to make this upto wherever you have travelled. The dance at every 1000 km was so cute. I felt sadness when Ruben got blinded ...I guess that was temporary. Would be cool if you could do small videos of your visit at each stop. I don't know if you have made them already. Best wishes on your journey.

I’m just going go put this out before i watch the video... Thank you, the longest walk 1 back when you released it. It motivated to start a project of my own. I started in 2010 and took pictures of myself and various landscapes. Not so much Walking on a journy like this but more of bits of my life. Even tho most of my days where home at work it still has bits of the times I’ve been mountain climbing, spending days at sea and camping out in the Woods, and those days reminds me of what i’ve experienced and how greatfull i am. I’m entering my 9th year now and alltho it come to more of a stale state where i’m in uni and not so much outside the city latley i still regulary watch the longest walk 1 time to time because it’s one of the best videos out here. And those who Ask me about the project of mine i always link your videos. Love your content. Keep it up. Lots of luck!!

This is amazing, what a story. Deciding to go on this venture with no knowledge that it would include meeting new friends and finding a new girlfriend. Spending scary nights in a tent, walking through expanses of lonely deserts. Meeting up with old friends, and sadly breaking up. Heartbreak, awe, and excitement are all emotions I would have to guess you experienced along the way. You are making the absolute most of your life, and I applaud you for it. You have inspired me, one day I might start a similar journey. I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world.

I readed your book on russian translate. Saw lots video. after this video I thought that this road was the road to yourself. I think you found yourself a real one this way. Not everyone really understands this. For some you may seem crazy, but you do all this for yourself. I myself often think about this path, but I'm afraid. I'm afraid to start. Now I am also in China, but in the south of China. Sometimes I have a desire to give up everything and go on foot in search of myself. But my path lies in search of myself in the other direction, full of other dangers.

Not to be all Shakespearian or anything but i think this pretty much sums up life, you gotta have a goal in life and you gotta be strong enough to withstand life’ winds. Plus you gotta be ready for all the people who are gonna come in and out of your life, maybe some heartbreak, but in the end you have to keep moving and every once and a while you have to stop and celebrate what you been through.
