Before I say my final goodbye to the 2017 Dodge Challenger 392 Hemi Scatpack Shaker I wanted to do a quick overview of my top 6 (actually 7) must have mods that I have absolutely loved installing on my Dodge Challenger. Now most of these mods can actually be installed on any of the Dodge Challenger's (SXT, RT, Scatpack, SRT, Hellcat, Widebody, etc...) so no need to worry if you don't have a Scatpack. Some of these mods can even be installed on any of the Dodge Charger's as well. I know some of you have seen these on the channel in previous videos but I think its great to have a recap for people who haven't seen the videos or are looking for suggestions.

I have wanted a Shaker, and I wanted a widebody (the overall must), and I have missed out on a 50th wide/Shaker, BUT... 2021 has the option for a Shaker on a Widebody!! And since watching that vid of you putting the Shaker lights in, that has been my #2 mod that I planned on doing, but probably tie it into #1, which is the puddle lights. Thanks for the info! Good luck selling it!

So awesome! Yeah I'm super happy that they are finally making a widebody shaker for a production model. One of the complaints I had in 2008 is that the widebody ScatPack does not have the shaker so I'm stoked they have it. You're going to love the ride!

Some good info. There's a couple I would add. Mopar Intake tube.. if it's not the Mopar from factory, and if you have the M6. Getting the Barton shifter installed. I would also suggest the Shaker strut tower brace. It compliments the car, and looks great. I did these on mine, and it looks like what Dodge should've done.

Mid mufflers should never be removed. Ever. I did,kept my resonators, awful. Replaced with vibrant 1794s, cut out the rears, perfect.

Thank you! Not all of them but some of them are for 2015 and up. If you have a 2014 you can still do the Hood Pins, the Dynomax Race Bullet mufflers, the Puddle Lights in the doors, and the Electro luminescent wire.

I would say it depends on where you live. If you get a lot of salt then probably a good idea but I personally don't have experience with under coating

Yep you can Install the Hellcat airbox. I went with the lights because the intake doesn't do much in terms of cooling the engine for the shaker from what I've seen

From what is out there. Getting the Hellcat lower box if it's not with your ride. You can get in tube that attaches to the airbox.15-18 I believe has the cap, and it pops out.. it's like 50 bucks or so, and you do have to drill into the box to add the light tube..

Would replacing my mid mufflers with the race bullets hurt the engine?

No, if anything it may help it. Mufflers are just designed to “muffle” the loud sound. They can create back pressure which can bog your engine down at high RPMs.

Haha what more performance than 485 hp do you need? 🤣 Good question. The reason I didn't trade it in is because I know I will get more money if I decide to sell it myself. They are definitely offering a good amount but they are ultimately going to sell the car for pretty much the same amount I am selling it for. It definitely takes more time and work but it's worth the few extra grand IMO. Now ask me again in a few months if my car still isn't sold 🤣

Sorry, but I don't consider these mods. Moore like dress up. Mods to me are things that make it faster or more powerful. Accept the race bullets they are a mod they make it sound alot better.

Thanks for watching but I don't agree. Mods are by definition modifications which means anything that's different than stock. Theres performance and appearance mods but they are all mods IMO
