I really like this guy. He really likes me but I believe is scared to be hurt. I grew up with him, his family life was hard, his marriages were bad. Most what your saying we are doing. I want him to open his heart to me. He makes excuses, that he's so unhappy with himself. He says he wants me but doesn't. He's sweet and caring but doesn't want to be happy with a relationship, he wants to be alone. He's all over the place. Help me what to say to him. He doesn't like me complimenting him. What worked for me was to give myself some space from him and let him work on his own trauma. Mostly because my self esteem was suffering waiting for him to come around or back to his senses. He was depressed and benefited from my positive energy. While in room time to focus on myself, I felt a lot better and realized I wanted more than what he could give me. I hope you can choose you, instead of the man with excuses. It’s hard, because you care. But making a plan to detach one step at a time will allow you to see more clearly. It's odd but alot of men are like this. They can feel intimidated and pressured by our strong emotions. Leave him be and your answer will come. I'd certainly not sleep with a boyfriend no matter how tempting. It's a recipe for disaster because your emotions will overide your logic. Save sex for commitment and then you give the man your heart.

You should ask your husband to show you how to communicate better or tell you specific things you can do to improve. Telling you you need to communicate better is a very generalized statement and needs to be more constructive. . Your husband knows you better and seems to have an idea what it is you need to be doing. Ask him kindly in a conversation that is in a time neither one of you are tired, busy or in a bad mood. If he genuinely interested in you communicating better with him, he will tell you.

I was in the same situation, sadly these young men are easily influenced by friends, other men online, (not Alex on here) as well as AI robots destroying potential relationships or relationships. Men are told in these men's advice videos that they have to treat women badly in order to be the strong man. Otherwise they are weak, and will be cheated on or walked all over. Women should not be put on a pedestal ever, crazy advice. Now I'm dealing with why do I need to take you out, I'm not paying for you to just sit and eat in front of me for free. Being called a liar by him to my face, when I'm not. Why do you need a compliment? I don't talk about my feelings I've told you. Your hair looks lighter did you get it done? Yes 3 weeks ago for my birthday. (That would be the birthday he didn't send me a text over) Need I go on.. obviously they still expect their needs to be met of course! I don't think so, it's time to say goodbye to the men who think they can treat you like shit, and then expect you to meet their all important needs. No thanks. Since I am not important to you, you are not important to me 😂 These men have forgotten one important fact relationships include 2 people, and both need to be equal to be able to maintain a happy and well balanced relationship. If its all one sided, it will never work out long term. I realised he never wanted long term just a rebound to take out his hurt on. My advice leave him, if he values you or misses your company he will chase you. If not then you are free to move on with your life, and in the future have a good man who does values you. Maybe someone can help me out here. Been on and off with a guy since last year. He was just getting out of marriage. Now divorced. Im Sorry but when a man says he doesn’t want you or doesn’t feel it BELIEVE him. He obviously isn’t sure about you and you don’t need to be sitting around waiting for a man tk decide he’s ready. Ima tell you the truth because I’ve been around divorced men. Many are bitter. Divorce is a tough experience. Especially if they have kids.
