Thank you gentlemen. You have provided clear guidelines based in scripture and the teachings of the church. May our Lord be glorified by your work and may we all follow these guidelines to grow closer to Him.

Great episode. After listening I took down my copy of the Catholic Gentleman and wrote the 13 rules in my 2022 journal. May I suggest a 14th rule, which is implied in several if the others but which I think needs its own? Not sure how to word it but something about keeping a firm rein on one's tongue, avoiding angry coarse profane obscene speech. Asking for a friend

I don't know how old you are, but that statement seemed quite mature and incredible. I am 30 years old, although an atheist, to hell, I love Catholicism and all the culture that surrounds it.

Yes, in the past 02 years, I lost discipline 03 x's. I had let the law of the flesh, in regard to using profanity, take hold, instead of the law if the flesh. The Imitation if Christ, book 03, chapter 44, "It is better to leave each one to their own thoughts with contentious discourses.". I should have stayed quiet, leave the area and let time heal and dissipate the tension.

Although an elderly lady one always likes to refine understanding of Catholics c principles. As a Sedevacantist I do not agree with you but wanted to learn. I want to share with you that we were taught gentlemen and ladies do not sit with legs spread open and also jeans for your "apostolate" are not appropriate. These things put me off and I could not listen and did not share as planned.

Why can’t we, as women, let the men have a place of their own? Why do we have to invade every nook and cranny of their existence? I too am an “elderly lady” but we must learn to keep quiet sometimes. The feminists have really played a number on us. You speak of “jeans,” how about temperance of viewpoints? This is a man’s channel. Look at it like a gentleman’s club of a bygone era. Women were not allowed in nor did they wish to invade their domain. Learning to curb our tongues and our judgement is a good exercise for many of us ladies. It won’t matter if we are Sedes, Trads, or ‘New Mass’ goers. Gentility comes from a heart full of patience and His love.

@@shimmyhinnah Because you were scandalized it is necessary to explain. The idea of a Catholic gentleman like the ones of olden days appealed. One has four sons and recommended this site to consider the subject. One read some of their posts sent and think purchased a military Rosary for strength of beads. One did not know of podcast but it showed up was not looking for it. Just to see an old fashioned gentleman, one turned it on. No go. Because one is a Sedevacantist one is not in agreement with them but if they share a Saint's thoughts through Gmail notice I read.
