I’ve experienced sexual tension with someone I ended up dating for years. The boiling point before the tension is handled is super freaking intense. Like your skin gets super sensitive, your breathing becomes shallow, your mind goes blank, you feel confident but also shy, and you’re lowkey going feral lol. I ended up making the first move by acknowledging out loud my attraction to him and then it was was on. We had a healthy, happy relationship and the sexual tension never left. I experienced this once. Wrong person, wrong time at the wrong place. I’m working on myself again. I’ve learned to accept her and I will never be. It’s complicated but let’s just say she wasn’t the right one. She was manipulative, needy, a cheater. I’ve learned that I wasn’t the problem. She was. My family and friends never really liked her and I understand why really. What I learned from the experience Is ignoring red flags because you want to see the “good” in someone will eventually cost you later. I’ve moved on from her and doing better than ever. It was fun while it lasted, but it’s time to wake up. I have more self confidence, worth and love. Going back to her will destroy all of that. I have no intentions of doing that though. Oh my gosh, I have serious issues. I was in a very bitter dark place and at my addiction recovery meeting, where I did nothing but talk about how deeply depressed I've been, over a man I've fallen in love with, amongst other stresses in my life. And then it turned to me lamenting...and then swooning over him. And as we were all parting ways, one of the people smiled and made eye contact in salutations, and as I had JUST watched a Psych2Go thing on flirting that day (daydreaming of the man I love) I was like "oh my gosh...I think he was trying to flirt with me?" And then mentioned it to try to make him jealous because... I'm a douche sometimes. And I was feeling so rejected and invalidated and abandoned...and I acted like a child. To be honest, the only reason it was flattering was because it made me aware that I hadn't given up on the entire institution of love. And I thought he'd given up on me, and I was so hurt I didn't want anything to do with men, at all...for a long time. The guy in my meeting wasn't even my type... he's tall. And tall is intimidating and scary. It was just nice I think on a psychological level, to know that my own brain didn't consider myself as unlovable. Even if it was just a measly smile. I think my brain needed to reassure itself, because... I don't get reassurance from anyone but my kids. ...not trying to have a pity party. Just on my healing journey. Ok my brain can only do so much To manifest my sweet prince... Because I'm only human. ...time to pray like crazy.

But then one day I went to hand him something and our hands lingered over each others so our fingers brushed and I stg in that moment it was like pure *electricity* coursing through us. We both looked shocked but neither one said anything. After that we started eyeing each other whenever we could. We smile slyly when no one is looking and laugh a lot, but it’s a fast paced work environment, so it’s dicey. But now I’m at the point where I almost crave to see him, but when I do I feel like a junky who’s favorite drug is within reach but they can’t have it- I even have dreams about him sometimes. It’s absolutely maddening yet strangely euphoric. Like an itch you just can’t scratch. It seems like it never ends no matter how long time goes on. I am so addicted to him. I hang on his every word because he brings me that much pleasure. We have never had sex either. He said he has never felt this way before, it is stronger than anything he has experienced before. When I am near him, I just feel so much pleasure throughout my body. I don't want to say I love him because we aren't there yet. I just don't know what to call it. I explain it as a really strong connection both emotionally and physically for me.

that touch thing. Honestly this video pointed it out, I didn't realise how touchy i've become with this girl i'm actually going on a date with soon. I normally feel like touch makes people feel uncomfortable so barely touch people, however it's both exciting and comfortable being touchy with her and given her body language she seems comfortable with it too.

I have sexual tension with a coworker who works at a different location, but comes to my location a couple times a week. We rarely talk, but we are constantly keeping long eye contact and smiling alot at eachother. It definetly felt like sexual tension. Since i never get much of a chance to talk to him, I found him on instagram and messaged him there, and asked him out in a very respectful polite way. I also clarified who I am so he knows for sure it's me. He ghosted me. Now I'm confused and sad and hurt.

I’m very oblivious (and let’s face it a bit of a dumbass) when it comes to dating and flirting but I think I do experience sexual tension with my crush. Maybe ? When we talk we always gaze pretty intensely into each others eyes but it doesn’t feel awkward. Once it was so intense (with other things like leaning into each other for talking, smiling etc) I’m pretty sure we would’ve kissed if we had been in a more appropriate setting. Idk why I just felt it. After all this, we were chatting with our mutual friends and he was all smiley and giddy. I think he felt it too. Was/is this sexual tension ?
@sunnyropiha4883 Жыл бұрын
Me and this person that I've known for a while met up about four weeks ago and now I know that what I was feeling was sexual tension. We admitted we liked each other but he also said he wasn't ready for a relationship due to his last one and because I am much younger than him and doesn't know what his parents would think about him being with me. (totally understandable) So I tried to distance myself but he ended up looking after me that same day and were still friends. A couple days ago we did more than just hug and we both felt really guilty. We agreed to just be friends and refrain from doing that "again" until we became official. But I have major feelings for him and don't know what to do.

@DionLYA11 ай бұрын
@@sunnyropiha4883 Yeah no problem. When a guy says he cares about what his parents thinks, he will never agree to be in a relationship with the girl, even if you guys somehow end up in a rs. I know a similar story from another person. A girl I know whose boyfriend didn't want his parents to meet her (even though their age is roughly the same) treated her poorly. The guy initially wanted FWB with her but she insisted in being in a rs first, so he agreed. A few months later, she broke up with him due to said treatment. I will be explicit. As a guy, when we are only thinking of sex, we will just say 'yes' to everything a girl wants. Then once a guy gets what he wants from you, he no longer feels a need to play you anymore. It's similar to "pump and dump". Girls make the mistake thinking that a relationship will tie the guy down and get him to commit to you. But for guys like these, all they're thinking is, "Once I get my sex, I don't need to bother with you anymore :)" Even sexual touches is like a win for them.

Funnily enough, I’m the same way, especially with my fictional characters , and I have an impressive collection of Anime and Video Game Waifus too. Ain’t nothing wrong with that. Sometimes we require a relationship more magical than we can get in our normal lives. Real life can be incredibly limiting. If real life girls aren’t good enough for you mate, that’s your choice and your right. You will never hear any judgment from me, because I’m the same way. Reality crises are a thing.
@ThomasCurrie1024 Жыл бұрын
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not completely closed off the idea of a real life relationship, nor do I begrudge others for theirs, but as standards and expectations go, mine are almost impossible for anyone real to live up to. Hold out for your otherworldly Goddess my man, if that’s what you want to do. As long as you’re happy with the idea of living and loving vicariously through your favourite fictional works, then that’s all that matters. Don’t worry about anything else or what people say.

Many people enjoy flirting and attention, which can lead to mixed signals. As a lesbian, I've found that interpreting body language isn't always straightforward. For instance, I've experienced significant sexual tension with a bisexual woman in my circle. However, whenever I tried to get her to hang out with me, she seemed to panic and avoided me. I even had made some subtle moves but nothing happened between us. Later, she had admitted being attracted to me at that period, asked why I never made a move, which left me both annoyed and intrigued. It made me believe that she may just enjoy the attention and flirting that I stopped giving to her.
@hp2546Ай бұрын
She was testing you. First of all, she pushed you away and then later on, she asked why you never made a move. All along, she was enjoying all this hard to get games. She wanted to guilt trip you. If she really likes having you, she would not be playing hard to get and she would not be pushing you away in the 1st place. She wanted to make you compete for it. Don't fall for any of her manipulation tactics. What she did is played you. If she do not want to give you any sexual relationship, don't believe her word. She did not show it with actions. She wanted you to chase just so that she can take credit of rejecting you.
@billeed4732Ай бұрын

Eye contact is involved in certain flirting styles? Fvck that, I'm autistic, hate eye contact, and hate even more when people expect me to pick up on such stupidly subtle social cues. Maybe you were lucky to choose a crush who loves you back. It is possible to get rejected by a person you like. Just remember that it is normal for people to fall in love with a person who don't like them back. So quite common to be rejected by crushes nowadays. You most likely believe it is not possible because you were good looking so once you make a move, it is an automatic yes coming from your crush.
@Oceanmachine27Ай бұрын
The thing is, rejection really isn't a big deal. When you picture the other person as this amazing once in a lifetime perfect dream come true, rejection will be agonizing. But as time goes on you realize that they're just people, like you, and if they reject you, hey, life goes on. Someone else will come along, unbelievable as that may seem.

I cannot concentrate on my studies any more. 🙃When we talk or look at each other it's hard to control myself, but so far I've been quite successful. He seems to keep cool too. We're not really kids anymore to lack self control. But I just know he feels good around me. He smiles and jokes, and teases me a bit too sometimes. Soo... maybe he's feeling the same way too inside, who knows? 😆Hard to tell. It is a very pleasant and uplifting feeling, but at the same time taking its toll on me too. LOL

I used to have a giant crush on this boy, but for some stupid reason, I wasn't sure if he liked me back. Then the sexual tension got so intense that I felt like I was going to be crazy. We would stare at each other (obviously yearning) for long periods, without talking. He touched me all the time, small stuff like him sitting next to me and our knees touching, or him fidgeting with something random on my clothes like a zipper. He always stood really close to me and very slyly complimented me. Eventually, I couldn't take that shit because it felt like we were animals going to lunge at each other at any moment. I told him how I felt and we got together. A few months later we were casually texting and I couldn't figure out what to say next so I kept typing and deleting words, over and over, for 4 minutes straight. He did the same thing. It made me nervous asf, lol. Eventually I gave up trying to type because it showed he was typing for a while (I thought he was gonna send a paragraph or something). All he said was "you feel it too, don't you?" I was fuckin flabbergasted. SEXUAL TENSION OVER TEXT?!?! It's not like we were dirty talking at 1 am, we were literally talking about astronomy and it was like 8:30PM 😭 sadly we broke up because we both have Major Depressive Disorder and an MDD couple is not the vibe, but i seriously doubt anyone will make me feel that way ever again. That shit was crazy.
