It’s amazing how quickly the alienator can fill a child’s heart with hate. Hate that borders on rage. My daughter was one of the sweetest and loving humans you could imagine. The hatred they project towards the alienated parent is devastating.

I truly appreciate your videos that give me hope. I have an 18-year-old daughter that has been hurt and tortured now for over 10 years by her mother. I don't blame her for not reaching out yet. I know that she knows that she will be ostracized from the entire side of the family that her mother is from. Parental alienation is so awful

Thank u. Your points give me hope.... especially where u said " I know My child" even though I haven't seen them for so long. That is one aspect that haunts me. So many years lost...we had such a happy relationship.... but due to the alienation and the change in personality of my kids - I doubted our relationship. My hearts aches for them having to live with their dad and the battles.

I do write them e mails every day sending them nice music or short stories from you tube adding few words of love, I don’t if they read them at all, but I don’t get any mail failure, so they get those emails but if they read them or not I don’t know, if I want them to get a message from me I use friend phone and send them a what’s up which they get read and block the phone no. I used, but I do that only on special occasions like birthdays or holidays, thx, will be happy to get more advice 🙏

Maddie, in your particular case, was it you who reached out to your dad first when you found out about the alienation? And if so, did you have any contact at all with your dad prior to finding out the truth?

Interesting, the straw that broke the camels back was when our ACs AP, tresspassed on our property, multiple times to force contact with our AC in ordered time with her Dad, she was in writing asked 6 times not to leave. It came to pass the AP shared the contents of a C & D letter from the OP, me, could have been an IVO (restraining order). The AP convinced our AC that she had been victimised by the OP & that she was entitled to come onto the OPs property when ever she wished to contact our daughter. Since this illicit inappropriate adultification of a 12 year old, I have not seen our daughter in ordered time. Of course Im now mad, bad, dangerous to know & abusive. They all read the same script.

My 15 yr old has reached out this year 3 or 4 time's and when I refuse to speak with my ex abuser she blocks me on every platform or her dad/stepmother is doing it. (BTW another really painful thing is she calls her Mom 😔 😟 🙁 😥)

My stepdaughter is almost 7 years old and the badmouthing is so bad she believe everything. She aslo ask question that no 7 year old need to know regarding money and her mother keeps telling her that her father was never there. Her grandmother even phoned me and started to badmouth my husband in front of me and my stepdaughter warning me about the relationship how do we change this of any advice?

Because of the "late" thi g, I would make sure I would be an hour early for everything, and if it was early, I would go and sleep in my car to make sure that I was there.

Ugh, you’re so annoyingly wise! I’m going to try my absolute best. But I hate that I agree with everything you’re saying! I’m going to try. Every single thing. And me being “late!” You know who’d be waiting in the car with it running in the world’s most wildly passive aggressive manner. And a few minutes late to some sh*t that didn’t even matter. And if you thought that it ended a the passage aggression. That was just the appetizer of the following 10 hours. I promise you, I will try my best. I hope I can drive through UT someday (hopefully, sooner than later) and introduce her to your family.

What would you do if the parent doing the alienating did criminal things that he has been able to conceal. Would you not tell the child if he/she returns? One of the reasons that I have stopped trying to connect with my daughter is that I think it would be hurtful to her to know this and that she has sided with this kind of person.

The child needs to know the truth. It’s the only way to heal. That’s what I believe. Whether or not the child’s ready to question their reality-that’s another story. I’m sorry you’re going through this

Keep writing them messages. Even if they block your email and you have no way at all to reach them and can't even send them the messages, if they ever do start seeking the truth you'll have those messages saved to show that you have never not cared about them.

I really don’t think some of the messaging in this is healthy. The way you’re asking the parent to be perfect so that the alienating person has no ammunition is really quite unhealthy and unfair. I understand what you’re saying but alienators will always find something to attack. The reality is that alienators will find ammunition. There will be wounds and triggers and although it’s unfortunate it’s the child that needs to reconcile that they have an imperfect but loving parent. Some of that lies in listening to what things trigger you and thinking about whether it’s a reasonable expectation of people. Being late is more likely a symptom of being overwhelmed (separation and being a single parent is hard) or even adhd than doing so intentionally and being unloving.

This made me laugh. My parents are not even remotely capable of any of this. Not sure what makes you think any parent who fucked their kid over even remotely has the capacity to "reconnect" and be "emotionally sensitive". This is just a setup for failure really. This is absolute garbage.

What's the story? Because not all case's are the same. In this case it sounds like both parents abandoned you. Maddie is talking about Parental Alienation. When one parent or family for example is alienating a child through lies so they don't have to work together like adults on behalf of the child.

I would said to you. You obviously are in this alienation because you are hurt. I have no doubt you are but they may don’t know. Reach out for your well-being and see if that’s the truth. Humans are not perfect but love can amends everything. Reach out to see if your facts are right or wrong. You are looking for an answer and the answer it’s in you. Wish you the best because you deserve love and understanding.
