Thanks! Make sure you check your vPilot settings (if you're using that), you can adjust the range at which you see traffic).

I have 2 of my own tips! 1. If you can try to fly at a time where there's not much atc or traffic, like only Ground and stud with 1 or 2 other planes 2. Try to pick a route that doesn't fly in busy airspace. Usually those are allot more busy than tower or ground.

Are there controllers at class D and Class C airports in VATSIM? I am a low hour private pilot and would like to simulate the type of flying that I would do in the real world. Its seems to me that Everyone on VATSIM fly heavy aircraft to class B airports. While I do think that's pretty cool, I would rather use VATSIM to help me stay proficient in the type of flying I do. Is VATSIM for me?

Definitely, although major airports are more common because usually they bring the most traffic which is more fun for the controller. There are center controllers though which may control multiple airports in their airspace which might include smaller Class C and D airports so you at least have ATC there. Alternatively, events may be organized where regional airports are featured, but as long as there is a center controller online and he or she also provides ATC at smaller airports you can also fly to those smaller airports.

Hi is it good idea to practice with bot dispatcher in MSFS 2020? It is rather dumbass... i was taxi as ordered "hold position, other trafic", but no one was near. after in minute he said continue taxi. But in next taxiway exit i got sudden cessna.. and dispatcher said nothing about it.

During my first flight I choose to fly from EGLL on the busiest day ever on vatsim and there was me without charts and not knowing how to identify taxiways , the outcome was disastrous 😬

I have the stock X plane 11 nav data, will this be an issue?

Depends on how up to date that data is. If it becomes older than 2 years you will probably start to run into problems with out of date SIDs, STARs, airways and waypoints, but since X-Plane 11 is pretty recent I expect that its data is not that old now.

Hey, I have a question. If you want to ask for delivery, departure arrival etc and there is no one at their places, who should contact? Will unicom be helpful or do i have to do it myself, still tuned into 122.80?

It's best to watch this video for that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5SriJ2qbMihgK8 If there's no ATC at all you need to tune UNICOM but you should not give yourself some sort of clearance. Just tell other pilots what your intentions are, especially once you starts moving. So "EHAM TFC, KLM123 startup and pushback D14" and then for example "EHAM TFC, KLM123 takeoff runway 24, ARNEM 2S departure".

Thanks! I'll be doing a flight from KSFO to KDFW next friday on VATSIM so i wasn't sure. When i connected to Vatsim the first time, i found out that there are not many air traffic controllers and that's why i asked that.
