I'm pretty sure my friend and I found that easter egg in GoW 3 back when we 1st played it, it seems very familiar. We both paid a lot of attention to detail, but wouldn't have posted anything like that back then as we were both still kids. Thinking about it, that's probably happened a lot with people not thinking or caring to post undiscovered easter eggs.

This does not exist could be a glitch to. Often if a partical effect or texture fails to load properly a error code one displays instead. In source its floating txt saying error. A comin term in the game industry is "oh thats not a glitch its a feature" it means that any time a glitch or bug is found a devloper will try to spin it as if it was intended.

Usually when textures don't load in games the developers use bright and out of place backup textures to make it apparent something is wrong. Take Garry's Mod, for example, the black and pink texture is easily visible along with the source "ERROR" sign. I believe in the case of "THIS DOES NOT EXIST" is actually a specific design choice for an easter egg as TEEH said which was similar to previous GTA titles. Plus what kind of texture would load poorly up there anyway?

Dennis Fluttershy in a lot of games and eguns the thing the clouds are on is actully stationery and its more like a video playing on it. Like your tv does not move but shows moving pictures. Sky boxes partical effects and many other simmler things do not move at all in most games and your watching a video of that effect. If that effect fails to load properly youll eather see nothing at all or an error place holder. If the devlopers have a sence of humor sometimes those error place holders have jokes like this should not exist. You see error catches like this is code a lot.
