For anyone making the Pa Ko, the curry powder really elevates the flavor. I wouldnt skip it! Tastes so good! Go out and get some if you dont have it! Really brings the flavor together 😋

Great recipes as always. Hambraga! Excellent with Japanse tastes and sauce. No daikon here in Romania, but I use bigger radish and try to find the more spicy ones, which not only taste water. I recommend S&B chili powder, ichimi togarashi, and their other blends of chili powder, they are addictive! Also their curry cubes are excellent for Japanese curry, which is totally different from Indian or Thai. Keema curry is a fav. The tonteki pork is very good and simple, love the presentation with cabbage. Also slow cooked beef for sushi! Excellent not only for sushi, but also for sandwiches and with potato salad. For a picknick in the park. The last dish with chicken is nice too, a bit like the nabes we make at home. I like to add enoki mushrooms. Arigato again for your efforts and videos!

Thank you so much for watching this video! Grated daikon with hamburger steak is my favorite :) Yes, Japanese curry roux is really tasty and so useful! Like you say, the beef must be good with sandwiches too! I should try that :D I really appreciate your thoughtful comments on all the recipes. Thank you!!

@@JapaneseCookingChannel thank you for your kind words. Regarding food your channel is my favourite along with Mark Wiens travel vids, Samurai Junjiro snap-shots of Japan and Curries with Bumbi, Indian foods. Yes, Japanese curry roux is excellent, I always buy S&B. I do cook Indian curry often, but also Thai and Seychelles. But always come back to Japanese curry, it is different, but so good. When I lived in Japan I was a frequent guest at Cocos, "good smell, good curry! :-)) What I miss most from Japan foodwise is natto and mentaiko, both impossible to buy in Europe. I have tried mentaiko in a can, sent to me from Japan, but it was not good at all compared to fresh. Keep the vids coming, greatly appreciated. Your husband is lucky to be able to eat your foods :-)
