I saw one of your videos about 3 months ago. At first I thought you were mean, cranky and cruel....and then I listened to what you were saying. I started weighing myself every day, I let myself be hungry, I stopped eating after 7:30, I stopped eating for an additional 100 lb person .....and now I have lost 40lbs....in 3 months. You changed how I think....and it worked.

I’m super happy I found your channel and I appreciate all the videos you put out. I started closing the kitchen at 7:30 and it’s going good. I don’t think of it as intermittent fasting, I just see it as that’s it for the day. Food controls me, but closing the kitchen at 7:30 allows me to take the control back.

1. Embrace hunger (get used to it) 2. Close the kitchen at 7:30 pm 3. No second helpings 4. No Data 5. Get the book 6. Exercise

Hello Trainer Joes! I watched your "lose 100 in 6 months" video on the last week of May 2024. Thats how I met you. It cliked something in me. I started on June 11th, 2024, today July 6th 2024, I'm down 14lbs. Thats 25 days, from 224 to 210. Im seriously thinking on buying your book. I just wish you could have the spanish version too. My mom doesnt know much english and I'm sure she could use and love your book. Thanks for inspire me!!

I like the hacks except number 4. The problem with weighing myself every day is that it makes me impatient. Losing weight takes a long time, and for tracking I find it better to track my consistency to the plan instead of the number on the scale. I do weigh myself once a month now to see if the plan is working. For me, a "watch pit never boils." But I see your point.

You guys are the best; you're informative, authentic and fun! With that said, I have decided to join your program to take off my 25 excess pounds, and then hopefully be a role model for my husband to take off all of his excess weight once and for good. I start on Monday (July 8)! Here we go! : )

Omg watching this video while eating my dinner at 9:30pm 😂 I did get back from the gym late but thankfully I had my dinner already prepped so I didn't do any snacking. Keep the amazing videos coming!

Why do some fitness people say if you eat too little your body will hold onto fat to protect its self they call it starvation mode but how could this happen....

There is a risk that your metabolism will slow down if you have a large calorie deficit for an extended period of time. Resistance training/lifting weights, eating protein, and taking an occasional break from the calorie deficit can minimize this risk.

My hunger-weight loss hack: drink black or herbal tea in the morning to delay my first meal. have breakfast and lunch in close proximity to have a full belly- a hot meal is really important! no snacking. Go for a long walk/hike after work to get back to even calories for the day. have a good sized dinner to get you through the night and into midmorning again. avoid alcohol and sugary foods

I eat 7 fruits per day and walk one hour in the morning and one hour at night. I drink water and eat vegetables before I eat any carbs. It works!

Helped me was a smart scale for $14. App very easy. From 5 core. Keeps track of 17 categories with graphs. No subscription. Best deal ever. Of course 50 sprints a day 100 yarders doesn’t hurt either. Age 69. 12th grade weight. Onto 11th grade!

Hello trainer Joes!! Its been 10 days since I posted a comment on this video. I had lost 14lb in 25 days, from 224 to 210lb. Problem: I'm stuck!!! ☹ After my last comment I had my period and I thought that was the reason I wasn't losing any more, you know, water retention. Im still eating the same and exercise and even though my period is gone I'm stuck with 210lb after 10 days. Is this normal? I dont want to give up just yet!!!
