I enjoyed the video! I would love to lose 100 pounds in 6 months. To be honest, I just don’t think I can do it. My depression has been bad lately and I don’t think another ‘failure’ would help my mental health. However, that’s not to say once I get over this funk I wouldn’t give it a go!

2 months I've lost 32 lbs. Just need determination and it really isn't that hard, its all mindset. (You have to tell yourself enough is enough it's time to change.)

@@krishanurai3268 Yes I'm at over 50 lbs. lost now. No seed oils (and no margarine), no sugar, no bread, No White potato, no rice, no processed packaged food including deli meat. I ate Eggs, leafy Salads with Olive oil/vinegar and garlic dressing, and all meats/fish, and full Fat dairy (less sugar) then I walk 30 minutes a day at least, broken up or all at once. 21 squats every morning. started a 7 a day until I could do 21 to 30 easily. Intermittent fasting I only eat between 10:00AM and 6PM, or I try to at least go 14 t0 16 hours not eating, and 3 hours before bed. (After a week or 2 your cravings disappear for sweets and breads and hungry.) I drink water, coffee and tea, during my fasting periods. and mineral water. I use Monk fruit sweetener or stevia occasionally. Try to do 50-70% protein, 25 to 30% Good Fats, 10 to 20% carbs. I read packages if it doesn't have all natural ingredients I don't eat it. I have been averaging 2 to 5lbs a week.

I didn't do the "Lose 100lbs in 6 months" But it is that video that got me to start getting healthy! I lost 10lbs in a month by watching the video so I joined Trainer Joes. I've lost 75lbs since July and Im still going.

I want to tell you Joe I watched that video and it has changed my life. I have followed your simple plan since late August 2023. I have lost 59 lbs and have 40 more to go. It works....It has been life changing. I prayed " God, please help me with this struggle" and I found your video. I cannot thank you enough. I struggled for years, trying everything under the sun and nothing worked for very long. I just needed a plan. I loved the food, it was simple and I could do it. God Bless you and your family. For salad dressing, my favorite Ranch was 130 calories for 2 Tb. Instead I bought the dry mix, added Non-fat Greek Yogurt & Almond Milk (added a bit of Xanthan gum for thickness). Only 15 calories for 2 Tb!

I worked with a physique coach, lost 65lbs of the 80 I needed to lose. But every time I relaxed a little bit with my training and meticulous eating, I would gain 10-15lbs right back. I know some habits that I kept going back to were not helpful, but the mindset of the coach was that eating too little calories would wreck my metabolism, even though I only lost a good amount of weight when going much lower than they recommended. I’m so done because it pisses me off that I’ve worked my butt off to get where I am, consistently for over 3 years and I’m still carrying more weight than my normal shape and size would hold. And it’s not all muscle, most of it is in my belly which bloats rapidly every time I over eat, super depressing when I actually have built a very strong core underneath! I’m ready to do this! 👏

I did Joe’s 21 day transformation for two months a year ago. I changed my mindset and lost 35 pounds. I am not working as I should right now and I’ve added back 10 pounds but I know what to do. It’s time to do it! I love Joe’s work.

Just found you folks yesterday. I had a successful day one!! So excited to join this. Bought the book. I have 30 pounds to lose. I have never heard of "start with zero calories, and add on". Genius! I already walk about 3 miles per day and love it. Exercise doesn't help me loose weight; but it does make the body toned, coordinated and fit! I want to be thin again, like I was for most of my adult life, until menopause. ..The mindset idea is key! Love the idea of "eating the food that I enjoyed and stored five years ago - body fat!!"

I’m wondering how to maintain the weight loss. Wont it just all come back? The weight Ok. I watched more videos. I get it. Deny yourself. Be content. Don’t go back to your old habits, the way you used to eat. Eat for the person you want to be.

Today would be day 34 of the diet plan for me, and I will say that it has been hard for me, but not due to the lack of ability to cheat, but rather its hard since im on 16-18 days at work and working 7 days a week so meal prepping has become more difficult. As a result, i just started using a protien shake to substitute some meals, and it seems to work. I started at 367lbs, and I'm now 332 lbs. That's a 35lb weight loss. I also noticed that I tend to get full faster and can't eat as much as when I first started the program. I also look forward to the 30-minute walks on my lunch break at my first job.

So my biggest concern is- when you’ve lost the weight, and need to maintain- does the body then gain weight when you’ve added more regular food? Even if it’s healthy.

My only comment is that while it is possible to starve off 100 lbs in 6 months, staying there is going to be nearly impossible unless you have conditioned yourselve to be physically active after you have lost the weight. Someone 100 lbs overweight is most likely sedentary and even if they lose the 100 lbs, they will not be able to stick to a very low calorie diet for the rest of their lives to remain sedentary and normal weight. They should plan on going from a sedentary 100 lb overweight version of themselves to a moderately active normal weight version of themselves. Both versions will have a similar caloriic intake (+/- 100 calories), but the normal weight version will workout. Having said that, to get rid of the 100 lbs one has to create a caloric deficit, which will involve eating a lot less and exercising a lot more. Once the weight is gone, one then eats a littls less than they used to, but exercises a lot more (they didn't exercise hardly at all when they were 100 lbs overweight). This program will certainly lose the weight, but there doesn't seem to be enough conditioning (exercising) in it to pick up with a moderately active normal weight lifestyle after the weight is off. I think 9 months to 12 months is a more reasonable timeframe to get all of that done.

I agree. His methodology is not sustainable. I would be interested to see what his client success rate actually is. How many manage to lose their goal weight? How many keep it off for a year? 5? 10? I doubt the numbers are high.

Trainer joe, thanks for your response. While I suspect you and I are not on the same page politically, I absolutely love your approach to weight loss. Your approach is to the point and practical. I have used several different weight loss programs, some successful, many not. I just recently realized no matter the program, I am ultimately responsible for success or failure. When does your next class start? I am interested.

Trainer Joe has said this is 800-1600 calories a day. Im assuming because you can add avocado and other vegetables other than corn to your salad and milk to your coffee or tea.
