A little more on opening lanes: The location of this video carries almost 10,000 vehicles per hour. For those not experienced in L.A. traffic, this is hard to grasp. Friends of mine elsewhere are scared to drive on highways that have never been as busy as L.A.’s lightest times.

My previous job, we designed and have things built in China and shipped to us here in the states by ship. The equipment was always loaded into 20 foot shipping containers and the weight was supposed to stay within 30K. The container would be packed from end to end and about three foot tall with crates packed solid with metal goods. One good size machine tool can fill a 20 foot container and weigh upwards toward 40K. You never know what gets packed into one until a episode like this comes up. Thanks for sharing, Ken

I'm 1:43 into the video. Stopped to say, Ioved the 'break-in' to explain several of the why's behind how you operate. Often times these explanations in the field don't come across due to the intensity of the situation; taking time to explain in a calm/safe environment should really help the viewer learn.

Big Flippers front wheels were off the ground until the box was lifted off the trailer. The position of the boom forced the wheels onto the pavement. They came back up when the box was placed on the ground. Also notice the how much Hulk was leaning with the load -- the left side rear outrigger was off the ground.
