My board looks a little different, but one of the blue lights only flickers on for a millisecond (which also produces a bright flicker on the TV screen), when I adjust the ribbon from the main board to the Tcon. Since I can’t measure volts, is there any other way to tell if the Tcon is being overloaded by the main board power?

The model you repaired is exactly like mine but 55 inch. It has 2 flashing blue led lights on the t conn. There is a odd image that randomly appears in the upper right or left corner that can be seen with a flashlight. It looks like advertising something about it being the best selling model or something for four years straight. It's crazy right? I will test the led lights when the suction cup things come so I don't damage the glass when I lift it off. I really appreciate the detail and insights you provided. I got it all apart, just waiting for the right tools to arrive. Thanks a ton.

These videos are so informative…I have a Samsung UN65KS8000FXZA….took it to a repair shop they said it was the main board, want nearly $500 to fix…couldn’t do that. So I brought it home, ordered a new main board….it kind of came back to life, with a distorted pix (lines through the picture) and the sound was there….BEFORE I changed out the main board it just died, no picture or sound, and the back lights would intermittently flash, that was it…..so it’s not just the main board…what else could it be? I am ready to just trash it..it was an expensive tv and maybe 4 years old…..

I have a 48" Samsung TV could not be turned on. After a few detour I spotted the following symptom: T-Con board's 3.3V will shut off a moment after turn-on if con1 to LCD panel was connected. If the other flat cable from con2 to LCD panel remain be connected 3.3V will stay on and back light will be dimmed a few moment later. The board number is BN-95-01309A. How can I be sure that source of the problem was the T-Con board or the LCD panel itself? When con1 disconnected LED1 LED2 would lit but LED3 remain be off.

Hey there!!! Your video was extremely helpful. Thank you!! I was able to replace the T-con board on my 55in Samsung model UN55FH6030FXZA and fix the issue of TV not displaying anything. I do have a question. The TV is working how it should now, however there is a very thin horizontal white line at the lower part of the screen. It almost looks like a scratch but it’s not. Any ideas on what that could be and how to fix this??

We need to up the troubleshooting game to techs. The TConn DC to DC IC blows through panel short. The TV needs to be prolonged 'burn in' tested since the problem resurfaces. T-conn board hardly ever likely goes bad and when it does survives the 'bypass tape method...Wish you could tell me the set survived this repair....😓

Hello Sir, thanks for the great videos, I got a samsung ue65h8090sv The tv will turn on but the backlight will not, i ve seen a video suggesting to disconnect the cable that connects the power supply with the main board and with this method if the backlight turns on it mostly means that the main board is bad, so i disconnected the cable connecting power supply and main board and indeed all the led lights from backlight instandly turned on... I got a replacement main board (used) from a person who told me that the tv had screen damage so the main board should be ok as new... I replaced the main board and still have the same issue!! Btw when i turn on the tv and i press the volume button sometimes i can hear the sound and sometimes not, also tried to check the screen with a flashlight but i couldnt see anything at all... Please if you could help it would be very appreciated, (could it possibly be the t con?) And since the backlight leds light up when i disconnect the cable that connects the power pcb and main board pcb could this still be that the power supply is bad? Or did the guy aold me a bad main board?! Please any help would be appreciated ❤️ take care subscribed!! Edit: i measured the voltage for the leds when i forced the leds to turn on, and i had on different cables like 82 volts and others like 220 volts, when i connect again the cable between power supply and main board and the leds turn off, i get lower voltage output on led cables varying -20 up to -30 volts...

First off, thanks for the free instructional content. I have a Samsung tv: UN43TU7000FXZA. I'm trying to do my own maintenance on that aforementioned tv, specifically, I'm planning on removing the debris that got trapped behind the tv screen and possibly some of the layers behind the tv screen, if necessary. Question: How is the UN43TU7000FXZA's screen attached to the tv itself, considering it's marketed by Samsung as a "borderless" tv? Is the screen glued to any degree to the chassis? Any accurate information about such would be greatly appreciated.
