Hey good work on guiding the new players. I play Star Citizen a lot and the learning curve is just as steep as in DayZ. Now and then I also encounter new players and offer them some guidance, give them a little kickstart. Like dayZ, the game is relentless and you start with almost nothing. So I give them some advice, help them with hot keys and key bindings. When I think they get it I give them some in game currency to go and say goodbye.

Good coaching , learned a lot. Retention of info is important and over saturation can be bad. I've trained a lot of apprentices in my trade and overload is a real thing, you get a thousand mile stare after awhile you know you're starting to lose them.

Half way through the video so don't know if you have mentioned it yet but it's worth saying that you always face north when you spawn. Helps with your initial bearing

Thank you for this good information! im a new player, and learn lot of this video right now.. was so really hard game in beginning.. what i also already did find out, that i did still find a knive also in villages places where also food are.. so i skip industrial also when hungry/thursty.. thanks for the info you give! ❤

I tried playing DayZ a while ago and had no luck but I've been watching your noob to pro videos and have been having a lot more luck this time around granted I play on Xbox so the controls definitely took me some time to get used to. I've also been playing on a noob server until I get the hang of it then I'll try official servers. Hoping to run into you one of these days.

Man so I wonder if some admin has watched me bumble around, laughing. I just started playing, and so far my first like 10 hours I spent just figuring stuff out. Practicing zombie fighting and following a new spawn guy without him noticing like a weird creepy psychopath. Even contemplated murdering him. 😂😂😂 If they were watching, I am sure the high point was me falling off a roof in the dark and bleeding out.

I have 11 hrs and I've been learning from my 240hr friend..he's nowhere near your level but I'm pretty sure if I didn't have him to help me along I would have given up on the game by now
