Clay another cool video. The first time I saw lighting going across the bottom of the clouds was in 1986, and yes I was in Texas driving back to Southern California. It seemed that every time we had bad weather on that trip I was the one driving. When my Dad drove it was perfect. Once again our guys have let us down. They don't make it easy to be a fan, but I have been one since the early 70's and I am not gonna give up now.

Texasknowhow It's good to hear from you. It's been awhile since you posted anything. My projects are either in the shop or on a covered car port. The latest one is if I put all of the parts back together it will be a 1930 Ford Model A Fordor. Where I am now the sky is Really black so it's most likely gonna rain here pretty soon. What I like to do when it rains is sit in my metal shop and listen to it rain. I don't need the weather channel to see if it's gonna rain my left knee will tell me about 2 days ahead .

lilorbie lilorbie - Good to hear back from you as well. Rain on a metal roof is a neat experience. That shop I had in Va (before moving back to Tx) had a metal roof. And it rained a LOT there.

Texasknowhow That black cloud that I was watching just went to the south of us.I guess that we dodged a bullet as they say. But come the end of July and into August we will wanting all of the rain that we can get. The house that I grew up in the patio roof was made out of sheet aluminum it looked like regular sheet iron but it was aluminum.And when it rained it sounded awesome.

David Schneider - Thanks David! It means a lot when guys comment and thank me for the work and time it takes to video and post process the footage. About doubles or sometimes triples the time to do the job. Appreciate it and glad the videos are helpful - that is why I make them! Take care, Clay

But I promise to you and everyone, I will get back to it. It’s kinda killin me too. Putting two kids through college, so tons of work on their beaters and I’m working 50-60 hours a week at my day job for the $$. Hang in there brother! Stay safe, Clay

I was wondering what gas tank you used for the 67?
@Texasknowhow4 жыл бұрын
MrCabdriver1245 - It’s a reproduction tank for a ‘67 Mustang. 18 gal. This one doesn’t hang way down like the larger ones do. It’s a good fit.

GREAT analysis on those screw indention's and possibility of what it did, what is the name part number of the little channel locks & your lapel mic picks up real well, I assume it is blue tooth? Backing off on torque wrench when finished I did not know & when I first saw horizontal lightening was a shocker, ALWAYS learn something new in your clips, you would of made a great brain surgeon

Numa Newbern - I listed the pliers and some other tools I mention and use in the video description. Pick up a pair - you will love them! I’ll also add a link to the Rode Mic.

Where you live sounds real nice Russel. I hear ya on the 4x4, and these 67-72 body style can look sooooo nice as 4x4 trucks. I'm probably going low with mine (thus the CV front end conversion), but I do like the 4x4s as well. Stay in touch and keep me posted on that truck!

I would rebuild it since you have the engine out
@Texasknowhow4 жыл бұрын
Marcus Lee - Yeah, this was weighing on me as I showed in the video. But, I did have the head reworked and added hardened seats. The block was already bored .040 over. And all the bearings looked just broken in. So I resealed everything, changed out the timing gears and chain (next video) and buttoned it all up.
