61 Impala project part 2

The 61 Impala gets media blasted, also a quick walk around to show some of the work I've been doing on the body. For all you 10EE guys...there's no lathe stuff! That's coming so stay tuned!

That blasting really came out good. Looks like your guy knows what he's doing. This is going to make a helluva nice car down the road. Thanks for the video and have a merry Christmas.

Thanks Mike and merry Christmas to too! I'm really looking forward to the impala project. It was hard to see in the video but the blasting guy did a great job. He was super aware of potential warping problems often common with media blasting large flat panels.

Kevin, Good to see your progress. Love the outcome you get from sandblasting but sure don’t envy that guy his job. Man, you have a lot of detail work ahead of you! What is the epoxy primer you’re planning on using and how sandable is it? Source? Whatever you are doing for the holidays I wish you and your loved ones all the best. Cheers, Will

Hi Will and happy holidays to you and your family! Yes, the impala project will take a while! The epoxy I'm using is from Southern Polyurethanes. I chose that one because it's actually quite sandable and sprays really nice.

It was actually pretty solid but I did have some cancer to deal with. Media blasting uncovers all the ugly!
