Well done presentation Flight channel. I have a personal encounter that is pertinent to this video. The B737 300 was the first to have a trim WHEEL replaced by an unprotected vertical switch. We were on the ground on stop over, and the stew walked in and sat on the jump seat behind me, putting a foot on the pedestal. I objected, and she removed her foot which then revealed the switch. I took a second look at the switch and saw that it had run the rudder trim full right. I remember saying to the F/O, "this switch is a dumb design that is going to kill someone unless it is protected. SHIT. PISS. A little while later, I had a government check pilot travelling with us in the cockpit, and related the above experience to him, about the accident potential of an unprotected switch. He said to me "It already has done". I think he was possibly referring to your story above. Anyway, Boeing finally had a guard put over the switch. Engineers aren't always imaginative when it comes to how things can go wrong. MCAS anyone?

I always add a “Like” to Nicks videos regardless of how many fish he may catch. This may sound like a dumb question, but I always wondered if they demonetize the videos for having music on some of your videos?? I dunno how KZbin works with all that stuff, but anyways - I’ll be looking forward to the next fishing adventure

Usually depends on the music, copywrited music will get hit with a strike and they can take away the ad revenue. I imagine nick is using songs that are royalty free to avoid this

That reminds me of one time I was fishing for striped bass, fishing for keeps, and i hooked into a clear keeper. As I went to lip it, darn thing came off the hook and I jumped in after it and actually got it. I bear hugged that sucker into the rocks. It was a cold trail back but i got me a 32 inch striper. Great video as always, God bless!

Enjoyed your video. Always awesome to see the Fish you catch. That happened to me one time Salmon Fishing in Michigan, I hooked and landed a pretty big Coho. As I was holding it, it wiggled off my hands and was right beneath me in the water, so I slowly reached for its tail and grabbed it. It didn’t get away that time lol 😂.

I am kind of speechless at how many positive comments and wonderfully beautiful the comment section is in not only this video but in all his videos. He is indeed a special human being and watching him fish is so much fun because his genuine passion for fishing shines through in all his content. Even if he doesn't catch a fish I would watch him. We should be glad that where a lot of comment sections are minefields of haters and pricks, this one is pretty awesome. 🐟🦈♾️

That net scoop was CLUTCH! Ive never had that happen. But when I was around 10 yrs old, I was fishing with my dad. He hooked a 25+ lb Blue Catfish. It fought for a long time. Just as it got to the boat, the line snapped as my dad was lifting the fish up. 1-2 seconds pass and the dang catfish jumps out of the water, and landed halfway in the boat. At which point my dad grabbed it, got barbed (oh well), and pulled it into the boat. Know it was his cuz it had his hook in its mouth. Wildest thing I have EVER witnessed while fishing. Good stuff, Nick. Keep up the great work. Your b-roll material is the toppest of knotches.
