@telemarkmann68704 жыл бұрын
Nick, My experience is, when the water starts to rise it turns on the bite, especially on trout streams. Both the river bass and trout get active. When the water is low they shut down and go under the rocks to rest. I fish a clear water river below a hydro dam and have seen this happen many times. I take a break and re-rig when they cut the flow. It is almost useless to fish. The spot you were at in the opening shot I bet would be great when they did the release, it looked like the perfect spot when you came around that wall.

Lot of back currents in that spot. Yout bobber rig may have provided some different species. Plus have you ever tried a tiny split shot rig and cut carp. It spins great in the shallows and can often get some fish to hit that aren't all that interested in the sinker rig. That id def a very interesting spill way. Like to see you try it again. I'd deff like to see a vid of u going back and giving it a nother try and c what a few lures can do maybe some top water baits early morning or at dusk it looked like a good spot for it.
