Wow never really thought about a bass eating a turtle..then again I've only ever been bass fishing once..British Columbia Canada is known for trout not bass..always wanted to go bass fishing again as they apperantly eat anything like a pike I guess

Carp are so under rated! They get big, fight hard but also can spook easily in clear water. They can be a challenging fish to fish for but also, can be very inexpensive to fish for. Glad you enjoyed fishing for them!

That lure is definitely for saltwater, but it probably imitates a small turtle or frog pretty good. Nicely done!!!

I have never seen that lure before. We fish long cod up here in Seattle. Depending on how deep and how hard the tide is running dictates the weight off the jig used. I have used 3oz to 16oz jigs. Look up fishing in the puget sound or San Juan islands. Ocean fishing out of West Port is also a great time. Certain parts of the year you can go out and catch a limit of salmon then a limit of bottom fish like cod or halibut. Thanks for the great videos.

I always enjoy your videos for the content and your kind personality. you always make them interesting. But part of that, making-them-interesting thing, is your editing/shooting skills. And this one really stood out. I assume that you edit them yourself and I assume that you carry all those cameras and associated equipment along with all your fishing gear! I have never caught anyone else in any of your shots, just the camera on the tripod once in awhile. And now that I think about it, I believe you even take the GoPro off of your hat when you do the stand-up shots in front of the tripod mounted camera. Of course the drone shots really make some interesting transitions. In fact, the b-roll footage that you capture for transition shots are always good but this one particularly stood out. Having worked in television and video production for decades, from planning, to shooting, to the final edit, I know how much work it can be. So kudos to you for making the videos look so laid back and enjoyable. I know how much work you had to put into each one. And if for some reason that I missed a second person that I have never seen, it is still excellent work. Of all the people with fishing content on KZbin that I follow, I do believe yours ranks at the top in content and quality. Good work 😄

Big Bass and Bluegills at " The Pond " 🙂 Know you love fishin the spillways but that place is awesome . Seeing the big bluegills and bass , maybe consider breaking out the fly rod and try some poppers . I never had much luck with bass but big bluegills like that are a blast on fly fishin gear . Fun Fact: Flounders start out swimming vertical with one eye on each side (like a "normal" fish) then they slowly turn horizontal and one eye moves to the same side as the other over time! Crazy!!
