I've fished Gordon Moore so many times. Great catfish spot if you have the time. Decent bluegill too but I can never catch bass out of there.

I fish at that park all the time I cant believe I missed you. This park is extremely overfished but it is my favorite place to fish thats local. Also that piece of plywood that was in front of the bridge was a sign that said the bridge is unsafe for use but it gets blown over in the wind.

The other reason crawfish work is, crayfish eat the eggs of bluegills and sunfish, so a bluegill will aggressively leave its nest to destroy the crawfish. When I learned that I went out and bout a dozen of em, different colors. Sunfish have been destroying them so far, even in warm summer water. Other baits catch them too because no fish wants the same thing to eat all day long. But it is war on crawfish, not just food, for the sunfish. Cool drone shot of the park waters!

I normally go for something more expencive but since I’ve never fished BFS I might start off with a cheaper combo (Tsurinoya XF-50 and the legendary Kuying Teton rod) to see if I really enjoy it.
