Hello Nick, There is a mosquito repellant that I have found that really seems to do the job. The name of the repellant is Tickshield by Cedarcide. Deet free and smells better than othe chemical repellants. As always, great video!

You were talking about using a frozen whiting to catch freshwater fish. Did you use any pieces of that in the video I didn't see, I thought you just use chunks of sunfish and whole shads. What I think would be a cool challenge for you sometime is to take some of those giant carp that you catch for bait down to Florida or wherever is closer to the shore for you, and go shark fishing and see how they fare.

Stay hydrated out there while you're traveling around hitting new places or whatever, especially in those heat indicies, that stuff is nothing to play with. That kinda looked like a brown bullhead, I know out of all the species of bullheads, the brown gets the biggest, up to 5-6 lbs, I've caught several in the 4 to 5 lb range, at different places here in KY, first one i caught i thought for a second it was a small flathead, almost, almost looked like one.

Hey Nick, I know im a couple of months late on this video, but those bug repelling bracelets are magic against mosquitoes pair that with some bug spray and you won't get bothered at all. Either that or go expensive, and get a thermocel

Another small bait you could try. Grab a can of anchovies shrimp or smoked oyster . Anchovies under a bobber look like leaches and the fishy oil spreads out. Baby can shrimp in halls or thirds are a good size for anything that eats the fresh water shrimp. And oysters are good for targeting some bottom feeders that enjoy muscles

That was a nice bullhead. I caught a pretty big bullhead last weekend and it stuck me in the hand really good. I had to cut the spine off of it to get it out of my hand. Unfortunately he had swallowed the hook to begin with, so he didn't make it. Then I lost a huge fish on my other rod, trying to reel it in with my bloody hand. Such a let down.
