Was walking downtown Chicago and waiting for my bus back to the burbs and saw the crew filming a scene at Lou Mitchell's restaurant. Ask one of the guys what was going on and he said a AMC series called 61st street. Told me to check out the trailer here. Glad I asked and glad I did! I can't wait to see the series.

@@MrSimonaaronjust getting through the first series … the stories are brilliant. The actors are ALL so good. I actually think it’s superbly polished. And the music is so good - wonder did it get many awards? - hope so. Was in Chicago last year - had a great time with my family

Season sent me thru every emotion. High intense anger because how true this is. Sadness because of how fast our life can be taken from us while being terrified and feeling helpless. Happy because mose was back home with his family. But definitely so much anger because of the lies being told, the constant assumptions we go through. I’ll just stop here…….

I watched the whole series on a longhaul flight. Lost it's appeal by the end..... overplayed the stereotypes and the false narrative political agendas
