This is the first time (I think) that I saw you without your hat on. Yes when you obtain new property it does have a lot of work getting the undergrowth cleared out. A lot people do not realize that clearing undergrowth is actually beneficial to the land and forest. You definitely need the extra large bed so the dogs will give you and Cedar a place to sleep in their bedroom. My wife and I have a 'Queen Size' bed and it is amazing how much space two Chihuahuas can take up in a bed.

That bed frame brings back a lot of memories, my mom too looked for a long time to find one just like that. She passed some years ago but I never forget that frame because it was me who set it up and took it down every time she moved.

If I would focus on one project, I could get something finished!! LOL!! Meanwhile I am working on two main projects which of course hinge on something else that needs done. And tomorrow we go cut more firewood, and I havent moved the split stuff to the stack yet. Remember you are as young as you are going to be right now. At 73, I am as young as I am going to be right now, so got to keep on going!!!! The alternative is not good!!!

Heath, You all get the snow and the cold we here on the east coast get the wind and the rain. Tropical Storm Ian formerly Hurricane Ian settles in Sept 30 at 0200 hours and over the next 26 hours we have a wind and rain event. I am fortunate that I live in a townhouse on a concrete pad and there are no trees anywhere close to me. I suspect our shrubs will take a beating but I will just hunkering down. Our powerlines are underground but we are still at the mercy of the substation and the power grid downtown Apex.

@vickiemeisinger96322 жыл бұрын
Continued page 2: it was very hard to find king size anything and furniture because men were not of that stature before the 19th century. Napoleon himself he was a very famous ruler of the Roman army, self-appointed, was only a little over 5 feet tall. He was known to wear lifts in his boots, have ramps built for him to walk up on whenever he needed to speak, so that he appeared to be taller than he actually was. In fact there were many famous western Actors it did the same thing. Women in the earlier centuries had ways that were 14 to 16 inches in size yes and they were just a tiny her bone structure than women of today and they were also shorter. That is how they were able to wear those Tiny Corsets that some women are copying nowadays and some women are laughing at nowadays.!! Often, families gave one another a goose down-field mattress as a wedding gift and it would’ve been impossible to have made a king size mattress back then Who is the matching pillowcases in king size also!! It was just too large and houses/cabins were not built that big either. Many people only had a one bedroom cabin and a king size bed would not have fit… But rather they were full size mattress for couples building a one room bedroom cabin.♥️♥️💕

I just bought 100 acres which has been 35 years abandoned. living now on a family 95 acre farm after moving around the country for years. I'm sure you've already considered all your options, just letting you hear somebody that is clearing the land like you and it is indispensable to me. I'm also looking for a companion dog. any ideas. I know it's not prettiest sight when it's close by your house but here where I live(Croatia, Europe) Public forests menegment company don't allow burning wood leftovers, usually they cut down and thining forests, taking out technical wood-logs, then they sell(usually on discount prices) thicker canopy wood to people make themselves fire wood, then companies making pellets take thiner branches and what is left they demand to bi piled in small piles to decompose and get back into soil and to fertilize soil for new tree seedlings they go trough forest and plant after all work is done it that part of forest.

It keeps coming to my mind that I personally could never be in the position to comment negatively on what you do with your land, I do not live in your situation, I think you have to do what you feel is the best thing for you. One of the reasons I would live your life if I could would be to be able to do as I wish and not have others tell me how wrong they think I am, I simply do not have to care about their opinion. I can listen to my family and my heart and that would be enough unless I ask for the help of others. Seeing you helping to make the bed up, now that was a sight.
