I was on this channel three years ago and now I’m back. Three years ago, I was the dumpee but I was the one who jumped into a rebound relationship. And he’s right. It usually never lasts. For me it lasted for 10 months and within those 10 months, I would contact my ex about having troubles with my new relationship. It was very toxic. It was hell, mostly because I never healed. But after that rebound ended, I took the time to heal and work on myself. Two years later, I found myself in a relationship again and after 3 months of it, I got dumped again. It’s only been less than a week and I’ve been self reflecting a lot and crying to release. Journalling also helps a ton. But I recently found out that my ex is in a rebound relationship and I also found out that he’s been telling bad stuff about me to other people and distorting what happened. I didnt react to it. It seemed like I expected it. So I reached out to my closest friends, told them, and asked them if they could help me move on. It’s only been a week. I feel like I’m the bigger person for doing self-reflecting and taking the time to heal. But I also know that he chose what he’s doing because he’s in pain. I’ve been there. Right now, I’m doing my best to work on myself. My anxiety levels are in a rollercoaster but I understand that it’s normal for it to fluctuate. These videos help calm my anxiety. With time and with a lot of kindness to myself, I know I can get through this painful season. 🤍

Never forget to take the difficulty setting you're living on into consideration. For me, after 3 years together, everything was fine. She was still all over me and loved spending time together. Then she told me she cared about me so much and would never hurt or betray me. Until then, I'd been resisting trusting her completely because I'd been hurt before, but when she said that, I knew it was time for me to trust her 100%, so I did. Later that SAME night, she met a guy who gave her butterflies, and left me 6 days later. She literally told me she cared about me so much that she'd never hurt or betray me, then met the guy she'd hurt and betray me for later that same night, the SAME day that I finally gave in and trusted her 100%. I think that might be "grass is greener" since the ex already have emotion for someone else while in a relationship with someone. Its still kind of oxytocin and all the other stuff taking place in the brain which later run out and they realize or decide who is better or if they are toxic the ex will repeat the same toxic pattern. So what does it mean when they leave you for someone else? My relationship was about to hit the 6 year mark (ironically the same day as the guy she left me for birthday). The month leading up to our break up she was talking to this guy a lot and told me at one point I’m the only one she’s ever been with and she didn’t want regret losing us but at the same time didn’t want to regret not taking the chance to see if there is someone else. After a month she chose to go see if the guy is the one. She’s blocked me on social media, posted photos of them on her Instagram with hearts from what I’ve been told. I haven’t talked to her in 2 weeks and we’ve been broken up for a month and a half. Prior to the 2 weeks I had been (like you said not to) her friend in responding to anything she asked me for but that was it I didn’t reach out to her or carry on conversation with her when she reached out to me. I didn’t know not to do this I had just recently ran into your channel and it’s been helping me a lot. Any advice on this would be great, thanks.

It’s been about 5 -6 months and .... she’s been on social media answering everyone who asks about me and she says she’s not worried about me but every time someone mentions me , she goes off or she specifically says her new girlfriend is way better then me , so in April she met this girl after I moved away and they started to get close as your girlfriend I will not pick and choose your friends as long as they know their place and don’t put their heads and ears in our business it’s all good but they started to catch feelings for each other so constantly she would lie about things for example I wouldn’t get a text back unless it was in the morning time she would always text me “ good morning “ plus she’s in track so 8 hours of school plus 4 hours of practice, I understood she was tired and needed rest after the day ! So I gave her that ... I wish I never did she took advantage and was always on face time with this girl and always talked to her she was slowly replacing me and she said she NEVER would things got more hectic and now they’re together we broke up in the endings of May , and they got together no latter then 2 weeks after , I didn’t jus jump into the relationship with her at first I needed to build more of a foundation and once I thought I was doing the right thing I wish I never told her how I felt if this was gonna happen ! But now she’s constantly calling me crazy which is a known fact for everyone who knows me , she called me immature and childish and she says her new girlfriend she told me not to worry about was nothing like that remind you the new girl sees her every weekend , they make 24 hours on the phone and I know because they always screen Shot stuff on post it on social media both of their accounts are private and I don’t follow them anymore , I could care less about what they say but my thing is this girl has always been jealous of mine and my ex’s relationship and now that she has it to herself she’s still bitter ! my ex was the one who hurt me and she’s mad at me and throwing shade like no tomorrow... I want us back but this negative energy is like the blockage to getting back together
