66 c10 3 Inch Drop. New Wheel and tire Combo

Installing 3 inch drop coils on the C10. Finished up installing the new steering and installed some new 17 inch American Racing wheels on the truck.

Love the west coast mirrors. Yes would look good another 2” down in the front if those are the wheels you’re running with. Glad you showed putting the steering on because I’m going with the same setup on my 64 big window truck.

Always dig torq thrust! Good looking wheel on a 60-66 GM truck. I think you DEFINITELY need to lower the front more. I am running into the same scenario. Gonna need to cut coils and do drop spindles to get the slight rake I am after. I just took out two springs out of the leafs and it drop my rear like 3". (Maybe a slight exaggeration)

From my experience it didn’t. I think someone makes a kit to change the tie rods to the bigger squarebody style. So that would be an option also

I've always liked the TTII wheels. They look good on the truck but I agree the front needs to drop a little.

Drop the front two more ❤ I just wrapped up my 65 Chevy dropped 4” in the front and 5” inches n the back sits really nice on 235’s

Two more inches in the front would be good. A lot of spindles for square bodies are two and a half or three.
