The more the tow IN the more the OUTSIDE of the tire wears, The more the tow OUT the more the INSIDE of the tire wears. The more the positive camber (top of tire out ) the more the outside wears, The more the negative camber ( top of the tire in ) the more the inside wears.

What a great video and experience. Maybe my son and I can do this in the near future. I know what it's like to be stranded with a custom car and how stressful that can be. Breaking down that close to home after all you went through had to feel comforting in a way though. I can't imagine breaking down going through one of those big cities. That would be my biggest fear. Also very cool to see all the other like minded people with tools willing to jump in and give a hand not just in your video but others I've seen on this tour as well. Keep us up to date on what you find out about the coil situation. I bet if you would have had time to just let it sit for a few hrs and cool down she would have fired right back up.

I also heat the frame up to get moisture out before I spray it. Looks good 👍

Absolutely 1 of my A-1 favorite trucks! I personally, would go for the LS5 454, with the Edelbrock “RV Package, (“Performer aluminum int. man., Performer Plus cam & lifter kit, matching dual roller timing chain and gear set, & a 750 cam. carburetor “), & a 4L80-E transmission with shifting kit. Plenty of pulling power, and not bad mileage either! Best wishes to you and your family, including this entire project!
