Best part is the smile on her face ! She busted her ace on that thing and didn't loose interest in it and she got rewarded for her hard work and sticking with it. You will now enjoy for many years what you and your father have done. If the truck should ever go or be lost, you and your father will still have something that will last forever and can never be taken away . And that is some very good unforgettable memories . Can't wait to see you drive it down the road little miss.

Howdy to all the Hevyshevy's....That old 66 is comin right along, I learned to drive on a 66 GMC, same color...sure takes me back, my Dad had a 63, 64 and a 66...I was around those old chvey trucks most of my youth. Hope everyone is well, safe and happy, God Bless.

Cool truck for a beautiful daughter! You have done a wonderful job building the truck and raising some great children. Hats off to you and the wife and thanks for the vidios. At just shy of seventy I hope to get Dad's 48 Chevy running soon. living in the barn is not good Racoons and mice love the olg cloth wire and the mud wasps have filled every crack and hole.

Just found your videos while looking for information on problems with a hard brake pedal on a 64 C10 that my son's father-in-law bought. I got hooked on your vids and forgot what I was researching! Great to see your daughter showing great interest in the greasy end of vehicles! I also can appreciate your wife's helping you! Mine has been the same way in some of my past projects! Your style makes one feel like they are right in the garage with you all!

Things are progressing in a positive manor (for the most part). There's always a few hiccups on a project like coming up one fitting short. Lots of little details to putter with, such as worrying about new floor wood in the bed. Looks great !! A lot of hard work is paying off on the (soon-to-be) finished product !

I had a '64, that same color, years ago. It had the 292, with the granny gear 4-speed. Great old truck, I hope to have another one someday. For now, I have a more recent, small truck. It suits my needs, but doesn't have the character. Linda and I send our best to you and your family.

On a side note. My trusted mechanic friend told me NEVER use those uni set points as they burn up to easy. Always use genuine delco points and separate condenser(may have to do with the need for the actual wire going to condenser having something to do with the circuit that is needed). Worked for me. Nicely done. That 283 runs SWEET!
