Not to take away from any of your previous guests, but Mike did an excellent job explaining what can be quite complicated concepts. Andre always has the best questions, which helps tremendously. A standout episode for me, personally. Thanks for sharing, guys. Top shelf quality, as always.

It basically is after 2 or more rotors, you just optimize one of them to be less parasitic and lighter, and wants to keep spinning, a lower compression for more fuel... into a higher compression rotor . take one exhaust, put it in the intake of the next. if you want, thats where you put your ramjet or jet engine. scavenge the first and boost the next while burning any unburned fuel

@dogmoo Жыл бұрын
Mr DuSolds. With regards to your pressure differential problem and how it pertained to changing the headers to an NA style. You eluded to the problem bein centered around the the fact that you couldn't get the heat out. That would imply the problem being less related to spool and "efficiency" and more due to the negative side effects of running short ram headers. The reason that this is important is it should in theory be a trade off. The longer runners should (before the aid of antilag) hurt performance. But if you can keep the snail spun up with other means you can work around the big manifolds. Kinda of best of both worlds?

So here it is some of these guys actually all have a well known base and background of wtf they are there to be interviewed about. With that they know how to explain something 99 percent of the time to the point where whoever is listening will understand . Them the host immediately says.!??! "ESSENTIALLY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS BLABLABLA AND REPEATS WHOEVER HE IS INTERVIEWING EXACTLY WHAT HE JUST EXPLAINED . IN A WY he thinks it is or whatever all I know is when you say essentially my brain instantly say here we go . Idk why i have no issues with the man I actually like his way of teaching and explaining things it's just when darim Morgan is explaining how aborts flow characteristics are there really is only Darin Morgan standing there ..good video I'm interested in thile design

Improperly designed suspension geometry renders bad camber gain/bump steer which causes one to think OH FUCK IM GONNA DIE! At 140 mph adrenaline spikes are a very very bad thing. Adrenaline causes one to make rash decisions and correct when you should have just dug in, poured a little more pepper on and let the cars geometry sort you out. Just like in a gunfight. When I was just an infantry grunt in Fallujah, my patrol squadron got orders to assist a super salty squad of Army Rangers who were pinned down by a pretty experienced group of enemy commandos. These 7 men were pinned down behind some sandstone brick defilade with AK-47 fire coming in from their 10:00 all the way to their 2:00 rendering their cover smaller and smaller. When we acquired contact, it was like having a conversation with a buddy who's wife left him home alone with the kids. You could hear a bit of stress but in no way were they freaking out. "Oh hey boys. I can't tell you how happy I am to hear Marines on the rover right now uh...so yeah how far out are you guys?" We answered that question by telling them to drop prone and lit the enemy the fuck up from behind with the ma deuce on the back of the HUMV I was driving. We eradicated the threat with extreme prejudice and got them outta there. One of them got a purple heart, another guy got some glass in his eye. That's it. Like the song goes "if the Army or the Navy ever look on heaven's scenes they'll be glad the streets are guarded by UNITED STATE MARINES!!!!" I had their sarge in my vehicle and he literally hugged and kissed me on the cheek. Told me "man that was dumb the way you flew in there like that but, it worked so fuck it. Who's the beautiful bastard on the deuce I'm gonna French him!!" Our sarge swung down into the cab and said "You do mean HER right sergeant?" The ranger looked at me wide eyed. I just closed my eyes and nodded with a small smile. He then proceeded to ask her to marry him, which at that I lost my composure. I started laughing so hard tears were coming out of my eyes. All of us were. Making chicken Parm when all you have is dog shit is what we do. What we have to do. What else? Lay down and cry for mammie??

Lol 😂 that was a long round about way of saying "yes everyone was correct, you cannot make an old Camaro better than a corvette." This guy just told us how he had to change literally the entire car in order to get there, lmao. Don't get me wrong it's bad ass but don't go saying "everyone said you couldn't make an old Camaro fast on the track" then proceed to tell us you have to basically make an entirely new chassis to do so. They were effectively correct at that point.

People that have it keep saying JET😂. It's in the name. No jet compressor section so it is a ROCKET. This is gonna be mainstream soon. Wait and see. People are already using superchargers and turbos to eliminate lag.
@jdmjesus6103 Жыл бұрын
Not strictly true, pretty sure it's taking compressed air from the intake side. Interesting take though
@Surestick88 Жыл бұрын
Errrr... The turbo has both a compressor and a turbine so it's a turbine, not a rocket. You can build a functioning jet engine by putting a combustor on a turbo between the compressor and turbine, that's what this is with the added complexity of a piston engine thrown in to complicate things.
@curvs4me Жыл бұрын
@@Surestick88 The rocket 🚀 is not part of the turbo. it's an annular combustor in the exhaust flow that ignites the enriched exhaust to spool the exhaust turbine compressor wheel of the turbo that is downstream of the rocket. Yes a fun fact, a turbo can be used to make a low budget turbojet. Search the prodrive wrc rocket anti lag
