I noticed your board on the floor of your trailer. You can take your used motor oil and soak those boards down with the oil and it will help preserve them... Just a thought..

I was leased to Daily out of Carlisle,Pa. pulled 4 axle rgn all oversize, had two Barber Green pavers`from somewhere in Illinois to Miami, not over weight but 12 wide. I enjoy your videos, I bought Pete 352 all from the same dealer. the dealer arranged a factory visit, flight to Denton, Tx, transportation from the airport, to a nice motel, all meals paid, got to watch my new Pete on the assembly line and drove my new truck from Denton back to Carlisle. I enjoy your videos, have been able to see you at Mercer. I don't comment often. I'm 81 years old. Keep on with the video's I'll be watching, my CB name was 'Pull Toy"

You commented on the road condition of Indiana. I am from Ohio. Number of years ago the Indiana Road commission sold the contract of the turnpike to an Australian company. So all those dollars coming in from tolls goes to Australia and not back into the root system. Whereas Ohio still owns their own toll roads. I think that has a big impact on the quality of the roads.

Hopefully the next time you go to that North Carolina facility you can film the loading process, if they allow it. I'm sure it makes your day interacting with people and facilities that are caring and helpful. Been to Illinoize many times since my wife is originally from there. Yep, that Illinoize drives her crazy. 😂 Have been to Springfield, Illinois many times to the Air National Guard outfit while I worked for the Air National Guard Propulsion Office as a Functional Area Manager. Great people and made a few friends our there. Interesting those little J-hooks hold that 9,000lb air conditioner in place. Hope you get to save them for future loads.

Hey Trucker Dan. Good Video. Wish you had Shown the loading & chaining down at Lee Boy . I retired from Lee Boy 11 years ago. Might have known who helped you. I worked on the receiving end of the plant. Mercer at that time was the only shipper. Saw a lot of nice trucks & meet a lot of nice drivers.

Dorsey had a manufacturing facility in Cartersville, Georgia at one time but it closed because of financial problems. Love that #DorseyTrailer! it is a fantastic piece of equipment. Safe travels!

The flat bed company I worked for bought new aluminum trailers 25 years ago and the research they did was the frames were breaking. They forced drivers to split heavy loads such as brick over the axles. All protested that this would increase wind drag and reduce fuel mileage. Company failed shortly after.

I would not be comfortable with those J hooks and a simple nut threaded on locking the bracket. Nine thousand pounds is not lite, and those units might be top heavy.
