Lufia II story is so good because its relatable to Real Life - Any Normal Parent would do exactly that to protect their Children, and gladly give their life for them to survive. It's the reason it hits hard at the end too.

the base guitar is CRIMINALLY underrated in this song. When you pay special attention to it, you realise how hard it carries this entire track. Moreso than the horns do even.

I just completed this game last night for the first time. I never liked this version of the song before, but man, it hits different when you're actually there. After you've seen what the Sinistrals have done, after you've been through a long journey and finally arrived at your destination, it's something else.
