Its awe inspiring indeed!! Really awesome to watch this and to see how this 69 year old judoka is still quiet strong, combative with sharp text book techniques.....

Dude this may be my favorite judo video on KZbin. Didn’t look like the younger guy was holding back, older dude showed great gripping strategy and technique. And to beat it all he hit Sasae twice!!! Sasae is probably my favorite throw. Great video!!!

Wow, skills! Great defense, Complete grip fighting dominance, followed by variety of leg moves combination led to Sasae... and again Sasae...

Honest question...Sasae or Hiza Garuma? Seems to me like the subtle placement of the 'tripping/blocking' leg can make the diference?
@MichaelArsanis3 жыл бұрын
@@kiang8269 Maybe, but we're splitting hairs here. Personally I feel Judo has too many names for what is basically the same throw with a slightly different angle or position.

Oh the guy gripping with intention and not spamming snapdowns. Sounds like judo.

My favorite move. It's so amazing to use in a combo. Going osoto gari/otoshi feign into hiza guruma is fantastic.
