As a former small business owner, Kamala's proposed $50,000 tax deduction would not have provided me any benefit during the first 2 years since I had no earned income from my start-up business. Then because I business losses those first two years that I could carry forward, Kamala's $50,000 tax deduction would not have provided me with any benefit until the end of years 4 and 5. She has no understanding of tax deduction or credits or the fact that it takes most small business owner a 2-3 years before they start turning a profit. If starting a business was easy, why do approximately 20% of small businesses fail in the first year and 50% of them fail in the first 5 years? 50K tax credit not a grant 🤔! The VP mentioned that American People are unique with aspirations and dreams; but don’t have the resources ! So before tax credit may need the resources ! Better than funding wars!! To apply for grants in a more easier way. Lessen tax credit in the 3rd year to catch up in the first 2 years for biz start up! This is workable but need to fine tune with the economists. Lower interest rates between 1-3% interest and give the lenders the tax credit if the Government is unable to do the grants !
