Being a morning person is the weirdest privilege I've ever had! I have night owl friends who feel pressured to be "morning people", but I think that if the powers that be allow, you should go with what your body prefers. So, to all the night owls out there, 6am is that golden time of day where we cross paths haha. Love watching these routines, they're so relaxing.
@RubyGranger8

Completely agree with you! And it’s bizarre how society privileges and praises certain people for being more productive at a particular time of day even if work output is the same!

My husband is a very late night owl, which was perfect when he was a gigging musician but awful being a peripatetic music teacher in schools, and the schools typically had no sympathy for the former even though they hired him BECAUSE he was a working musician… So much unnecessary stress because of it.
@Lefthandshake

@@Lefthandshake Exactly! He’s had so many times when people make joking/snide comments to his face. After I read Matthew Walker’s Why We Sleep, I was at least able to give him an explanation for why his body is the way it is, and he’s now able to push back a bit with the science, but it’s still so heartbreaking watching him battle with it constantly.

You know what? I'm going to start an actual good morning routine just like this! I too live with other people and until I saw that she lives with others but still makes it work, I felt a lot better. There's something so special about consuming content you typically wouldn't so that you have something to offer other people. My brother and I always give our cousins (six, aged 4-12) one book and one toy/non-book for Christmas, so I read children's books and juvenile fiction books all year so that I have good ones to give them come winter.

I love it so much, that you are so real and transparent. You're making it clear, that you filmed parts the next day and told us the reasons. And you have a normal home, nothing seams staged and i can feel more in peace with myself by seeing messy corners and dirty things. It seems so responsible from you and for that I wanted to say thank you! Live is sometimes (or often for me) hard. By seenig such a lovely, intelligent person like you with so much productivity and at the same time so much 'normel messy' home, takes pressure from me. Not only motivated me this video to study and be more aware, read more and stay up in the mornings. It although showed me how much I do and accomplish and that it is so normal, to don't be perfekt in every aspect of live. thank you
@justvibingg-yt
@justvibingg-yt Жыл бұрын
Your writing was really accurate and comprehensive. I will correct some spellings- perfekt should be perfect, normel should be normal. live is a word but where you’ve used it here it should be life (because it’s a noun). Otherwise I really can’t see why you’d fail english!
@vixikie
@vixikie Жыл бұрын
@@justvibingg-yt Fun fact "perfekt" is how we spell "perfect" in Swedish lol. You know, even real authors makes mistakes and therefore have people proofread their books many times. But even when having several people have their books proofreading, you can still find some mistakes in their books, so not even them have perfect writing all the time. I think your text is perfectly fine, I would not expect that you would fail English in school if I didn't know.

Just a tip about something I learnt the hard way: if you can, wait a bit (like after brakfast, maybe?) before putting in your contact lenses. A couple of years ago I caught an eye infection from wearing them too much and had to stop wearing them for more than a month, which given my poor eyesight was so annoying. Now I'm back at wearing them 12+ hours each day, but I try to put them in as late as possible and take them out as soon as I get home.

I don't know if you will actually see this, since the video is several months old, but you can refill you fountain pen converter, while it is in you fountain pen. You dip the nib end of the fountain pen in the ink bottle and just twist the converter like you would otherwise. Then you can wipe your nib (with a piece of cloth, or a (paper) napkin) and you are done! You can keep your hands, desk and pen much cleaner that way, although I usually place my ink bottle onto something (I use a rubber pad, just to make it more stable), just to be sure!

@@Kirsten_is_cursed10 u sound jealous lol. It doesn't matter where u live and how many hours u work, everyone can get up early and do the things she did in the video.

Honestly, the mere fact that you ask google to "please, play the news" so politely, tells a lot about what a lovely person you are. Been watching you for years, so great to see that you stay humble despite all the success 🤓

What time does school start that you don’t need to leave until 9am? What kind of work do you do there? I’m very intrigued😆
