Al I personally (not a proffessional welder self taught with basic info I bought my first half size MIG back in the 90's most of my work outside of rebuilding trailers ws car based nearly all ways outer sills or floor to inner sills my first mig and I still have it is a Cebora 180 its has been as faithful and reliable as my old dog great video by the way nice to see how someone else does these vans

On stuff that's rammed full of filler like that b-post I now hit it with a blowtorch instead of grinding out the filler - once it's had a good tickle of heat, it just scrapes off nice & easy. Pongs a bit but is better than having clouds of filler-dust everywhere - and it's faster. Jealous of your access to repair panels over there in Blighty - here they're a bit more like hens teeth.

its a real shame the sprinters suffer rust like they do I think merc took a bad leaf from FORDS book crap steel crap preparation and you end up with a vehicle that melts in the rain
