Australia's 2023 away cricket season has been one of it's toughest in decades. It came after a series of controversies to affect Australian cricket in earlier years, at a time where it tries to put these events behind them. This video documents part 1 of this baptism of fire as Australia's cricket team tries to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in India, along with all of the trials and tribulations that came with it. Part 2 and 3 coming soon.

Even I though I'm a huge Australian cricket team fan... I thought if they ever make it to knockouts of cwc23 because the team has been playing series after series... I thought team was mentally struggling after they lost opening 2 matches... Especially loss against India was very hard... Team really did well in 2nd innings they dismissed top order rof India soon but Rahul and kohli partnership was hard to break.... But in the it's all about never doubt aussies no matter what... I was like wowed when they won matches after that... Totally deserved to be champions after they silenced india batting order in final...great captaincy by pat cummins to win wtc final, odi cwc and ashes! Hope the team continues to be successful like this.

This year is as special as 99-07 dominance. Cummins being called woke and incapable, a team lambasted back home. In the end, the same team has struck gold and Cummins like he said silenced the crowd against all odds. Ashes, WTC and now ODI WC. Epic! BCCI is rich but there are things which cannot be brought. Winning ethos, discipline, legacy. This win is the testament. Some delusional Indian fans deserved this humble pie. PS: Your previous video has been proven right. Keep up the good work mate. Do more parts. We can listen all day.

That final is one of the biggest chokes in sports history. It's the cricket version of the 2016 Warriors blowing a 3-1 lead. People will be talking about that for years to come. Bravo Australia. They may not be the best cricket team in the world on a day-to-day basis, but when the going gets tough, they sure get going.
@ardhern1392
@ardhern1392 8 ай бұрын
@@nathanhosea489 It wasn't a choke. India didn't show up when it counted most. I have said this multiple times already, but Australia's side was not any lesser than India's. We didn't have Head when we played them the first time, and prior to the series with South Africa, Australia was looking red-hot in ODI games. Revisionist history from people sucking off India can fuck off. Kohli can score as many meaningless runs against Bangladesh for the 100th time and it still wouldn't matter. Australia outplayed and more than that, out-thought the Indians in their own pathetic gambit. The NZ game should have woken up the world over how disgusting this nation is. You can go on and on about sandpaper, but nothing tops the genuine worm-like behaviour all Indian cricket fans and their board possess.

Surely we can guess that Tim Paine's problems were really about his performances, and the very belated leak of the "scandal" was simply because they wanted to put pressure on him. Perhaps it was actually a form of face-saving for everyone, because you don't drop the Australian captain - an archive scandal makes it a bit easier, ironically enough

@@HypocriticalKZbin1 cummins was handed it on a silver platter. Paine has given a heap of shit and made a team of it. Not only did he make us win again, he ripped out the shitty attitude that Michael Clarke had given Australian cricket. You can see it at club level, everyone was becoming arrogant and toxic. Changed with Paine. Without him, we'd be bottom of the pile right now

@@HypocriticalKZbin1paine definitely had a worse situation to deal with I believe. However cummins hadn’t been served it on a silver platter either...both had lots of pieces to pick up but I do believe Tim Paine bore the brunt of the initial fallout from the sand paper. With Cummins however, at roughly the same time that the punishments were being forgiven and a lot more people had forgiven those who did the dirty, Cummins was starting to take over more.
