Lamelo is so fun to watch. Yeah he turns the ball over too much, but I think it’s just bc he’s unconscious and just ballin. He doesn’t think about smart passes but I admire that he doesn’t hesitate to even try crazy passes and also yes my boy, gotta improve defense

In Lamelo's ROTY season he made me a Hornets fan, I watched Hornets games just to watch some of the crazy stuff he'd pull, he had no fear and total belief in himself. Man I hope he can get that back, he's so exciting to watch when he's on.

Lavar ran those kids' bones through the ground. If it weren't for him they wouldn't have been so injury prone. I agree with the last few 2ks that rated Lamelo pretty high. I still hope to see him ball out without injury for a few seasons. He's a fun and great guard. He's the new CP3 but without the longevity it seems.

FYI, his form is why he does well in 3's. It throws most defenders off their game as it doesn't 'look right' so they try to defend as normal without the visual queues.

Yes, when your oft injured and missing games while never playing in any legit meaningful games (aka the playoffs) people will tend to forget about you. LaMelo Ball is highly talented but the jury is definitely still out on whether he's a serious centerpiece or key guy you can build a title or even just a playoff contender around.

Personally as a casual who doesnt watch games, i just feel like its the same thing from 2-3 years ago. He’s still just a highlight reel, im not sure if he’s really recognized his faults and that his play really isnt all that if you’re not winning.

he nbeeds calls. if you watch him, he's damn good on defense. he'll lead the league in steals soon. he's young, but later guarding the point guard will be an advantage and he'll be able to defend 1-3 and maybe 4 in small ball. its clear he's not clumsy in the paint. he's getting rookie denials on his fouls all three years. basically lamelo ball would be talked about and allowed to flourish if he wore nikes.
