This looks great. Thanks for making 6th Gen Camaro parts!

Nice tips for hard to access bolts. Always good content. Thank you! Spraying the paint into the center of the cap is how I do it. Removing the center of a fan spray tip will make the paint come out in a stream. Drilling the nozzle out on a regular spray nozzle to about .040"/ 1mm works well too.

YES! Been waiting for you to make parts for the 6th Gen!! Splitter next? Any fender vents? Any goodies you make I know will killer! Need to bust my PR this coming session. 24s thunderbolt 7s at lightning.

That’s moving around those tracks! Splitter will be up in a day or two. Canards as well.

@@ajhartmanaero Thanks! AJ I currently have the wing that was in your trash, I believe. Don't wanna publicly trash others so Ill leave it at that. I have their splitter too. If we are talking about the same wing I should notice a lot more grip thru turn 9 at lightning.

Under size pilot hole followed by step drill / uni-bit gives a cleaner hole in sheet metal. Drilling just a couple holes to temporarily locate things before marking / drilling the rest of the holes gives more accurate locations. Do you recommend applying silicone under the mounting pads to prevent fretting and water and dirt entrapment?

I believe if you put painters tape down before you drill it really helps prevent chipping along the hole you drilled, but good on you showing folks to touch it up afterwards! Good job on doing such a comprehensive video. This is a true rarity but so very much appreciated for race parts! One minor question... why does everyone use silver hardware and not black grade 10.9 bolts?!? Seems like such a small amount more for that really nice and clean look.
@ajhartmanaero10 ай бұрын
The car had a vinyl wrap. That’s what looked like it was “chipping”. And either way, you’d want to touch up bare metal. As for the black hardware, I believe it’s a black phosphate which is ok but will rust over time. If you know of any black hardware that will last as long as zinc coated or stainless let me know.
@shredandenjoy731110 ай бұрын
@@ajhartmanaeroah noted on the black hardware eventually rusting. I'm on a quest to figure this out so... I'll either figure it out or figure out you all avoided black hardware for a reason!

Looks great! Any idea of the new downforce vs a stock 1LE wing?
@ajhartmanaero10 ай бұрын
Is there any public data on that wing?
@jcustenborder10 ай бұрын
@@ajhartmanaero I have no clue on that one. My 1LE is track only and I'm always interested in more downforce.
@ajhartmanaero10 ай бұрын
@@jcustenborder I can guarantee it’s a lot more Df, but not sure exactly how much.

Not to jump ahead AJ but any plans for diffuser
@ajhartmanaero10 ай бұрын
Our universal diffusor can be made to fit. But mounting it is up to you as we don't plan on a chassis specific bracket kit for them.

You definitely should make a carbon trunk! Reinforce it for your wings.

I do that for S550 mustangs. It’s pretty much a time/capacity issue for me being a small shop.

How much downforce at 6.5 degrees? 300-400 lb?

Much less or much more depending on speed.

Good afternoon, why are there so many problems with fixing the rear spoiler? Why put these screws in? It is easier to fix all this on rivets and aesthetically looks better. Additionally, glue could be used to better fix the spoiler to the trunk lid.
