Lots of nice parts on that cab, inner fenders ,rad support ,roof, back wall. Well the inner fenders were good .

Where does the transfer case cooler go?

These trucks don't have a transfer case cooler. The auto trans trucks had lines that ran to a separate section with in the radiator, but this didn't because it was a 5 speed truck.

@@bob_frazier Wish I could say I was doing something crazy, but it was just running around the basement with the kids. Took a corner too fast, wearing socks on bare concrete and ate it. Must have been a slick spot because both kids fell there too but they were fine lol. We kept running and I couldn't bend my wrist a few hours later.

ENGNBLDR was a guy in Oregon who modified heads, cams etc for Toyota engines. He did great work but he retired a couple years ago. www.engnbldr.com/

I daily drove my 1985 for a couple years and loved it. Then I added a car to the fleet because the truck wasn't great for hauling a newborn.

Hi Brian! Did I spell that right? I watched your video from last year, which helped me out recently. My 88 yota pickup is ready for cab removal as of today! I've rolled it a couple times without roll bars, so along with all the rust, it's pretty trashed. I've done a SAS with hi steer, front and rear e-lockers, sliders, and bumpers with no bed, but here's what I'm excited to tell you: I'm converting it to electric! I'm also bending myself a roll cage. Figured it's easier to conform a fabbed cab to a roll cage rather than vice-versa. Do you know anyone who's converted an 80's yota to electric or fabbed a cab?

I've never heard of anyone converting a pickup to electric... I think you're the first! You should document this build.

I’m going to cut off the front before scrapping it. Had the cab listed for sale for over a month @ $100, with no interest. Cutting passenger floor out too. The rest is too rusty.

@@6thGearGarage guess I wouldn't have seen it, there is a state between me and Ohio! Quick question, I'm about to re do my rear brake lines (they were deleted by PO due to a leak). Thoughts on bypassing the Load sensing valve? I believe my current one is trashed, and hear of many running without with no issues, and other installing a pressure regulator to the rear

Sadly, that's how ford does it all the time, the power strokes won't fit out any other way. At least with a Toyota, you have some options.

6th Gear Garage I used to follow a repo guy on youtube “reponut”, and followed the entire process with his tow truck grenading. That linked me to page that just deals with those engines. It reminded me of why I like Toyota.....
