7.3 Powerstroke Crank No Start

Looking for help, recommendations, or resources. I have a Ford 1995 7.3 F250 manual with 150,000 miles. I have a starting issue. For the most part it is sporadic and happens when I cut off the truck and try to start it again after 10 or 15 minutes. It will turn off but doesn’t start. If I wait about 30 or 40 minutes it usually starts right up. I have had it not start a couple of time (one of which currently now), after sitting a few days. But for the most part it always starts after it sits for a day or more. The last time it didn’t start after sitting for awhile, it just started again a few days later. Any help tracking down the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Could be many things. Like cps sensor going bad. My truck has issues with starting sometimes as well. I have to kick the clutch a couple times and it starts.

@@revrjackson that sounds like a pretty easily diagnosed problem because of how specific it is. I bet theres a forum somewhere on that topic, ill go look right now see what i find

I have crank no start no rpm signal but also have no wait to start light and have changed 2 GPR and it’s not sending 12v over to the wires for the glow plugs I have 12v to the main lug 12 to signal and 12 to power once key is forward

Check your fuses specifically for the pcm

So my belt broke off of my 99 as well and now it won't start it'll start off starting fluid but won't stay running I know it's bad to use starter fluid but thought it was a fuel issue you think it would be that sensor?

If you don’t see the rpm gauge moving. when you crank it it’s probably this sensor.

@@psd28 how do you know it's good? I see there is different sensors some are garbage. They aren't angled right.

If the rpm gauge moves while cranking it’s mostly likely something else could be many things ipr or something
