You can find high quality saffron in Iran and two other countries in neighborhoods. Because it’s the best place for a real saffron and not those fake saffron that made in the greenhouses.They have special methods for using it, totally different with methods that our friends told us. Iranian saffron were exported to other countries with so cheap price, then get packaged with different name and sold so expensive. Shameful. Iranian understood it and now they have their own packages of saffron , the best in the world.

Because it's not a very good shop for such things. Even Amazon is pretty trashy for such stuff. Believe it or not, the saffron I use is those little glass bottles (tiny things) you get from Sainsbury's - 1 gram at £3. I buy about 5 at once.
