For me, modeling tips help me a lot to care about myself. Body, face and anything.

1. Long limbs, long legs 2.Low body fat percentage, lean muscle mass (exercise, drinking plenty of water, avoid sodas) 3. Smooth Dark skin (skincare begins from food, then products). 4. Flat stomach for females, Abs for men 5. Small bust size. For females usually 33,, for male chest size 38. 6. Broad shoulders, (dancers make the best models, like Naomi Campbell) 7. Long torsos (like Giselle, makes you appear longer) You dont need to have every single one of them to become a model!

Try to grow your height. That’s what I plan to do. I modeled for years as a child but eventually was considered too short by age 13-14. I have longer limbs for being 5’3” but I’m gonna try and grow!

I'm actually normal weight and I just don't get why there is the "skinny model" and "plus size model" but not something in between...

Thanks for stating this. I find slimmer people get body shamed a lot but it's not spoken about at all. So many models get body shamed and because they're thin they're just expected to take it

My ex girlfriend her family are always on to her about how skinny she is how she doesnt look well which is so far from the truth. The double standard is wild to me that bigger people are allowed to make fun of slim people or judge us for being slim but if slim a person does the same its fat shaming or body shaming. Funny how larger women want to be in these spaces and are quick to call a lot of the models unhealthy but if the same model says well you're obese automatically its your body shaming even though being bigger medical is unhealthy

I think women with broad shoulders look great (e.g. Naomi Campbell, Yasmeen Ghauri, Kaia Gerber). This is why not every skinny person can be a model. If they dont have broad shoulders, the clothes just don't drape well.

sowda a I signed at 17 and moved to Miami by myself so I was homesick, I’m from Orlando so I went home often The “look” in Miami is different from NY models. I’m 6’5 and had to be under 180, and I’m not naturally that thin so I had to be really aware of what I ate and I worked out and ran a lot, I was a bit obsessive about it. Not good for mental health as a 17 yo. The female models really didn’t eat. If we weren’t working we all hung out together. Those of us not from Miami spent a lot of time together, it was emotionally draining The money isn’t as great when you start out. You have to fill up your portfolio. You book a photo shoot for 4 looks and think it will be just a few hours, it could be a 16 hr day and your paid 600$ then the agency gets it cut. After you get established it gets better for sure. I worked in nyc on some projects, I went to LA for projects. I got to travel a lot. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t what i wanted to do full time. I wanted to go to college. It seems more glamorous than it is. It’s a lot of sitting around, waiting lol Sitting in airports, alone. When you travel you are there for a day or 2 and then you fly back home or to the next location. So you can’t really explore the country or places your in. I’m half asleep and rambling 🙏🏻🌈

I am short but my legs are long and torso is short. I worked out hard enough to gain more weight back there while keeping my belly slim. Proud of myself despite the fact that not all agencies will like this body type- being short anyway

Yes you can definitely give it a try. With guys theres the fashion boys and sexy boys. Both get different type of work sometimes the same type of work. Guys on the skinner side will get more fashion e.g celine, saint Laurent where as a model with abs will get Calvin ad and more underwear jobs. The two meet for brands like versace or d&g that like to use both thinner boys and muscular boys
