I have always called the C8 a “high end performance car,” it is definitely stronger than a performance car but not a super car. I would honestly argue the E-Ray is in the same boat, many due to look and feel, not because of horsepower. the Z06 is undoubtedly a supercar however I would call the ZR1 a track machine rather than anything else

However, I have heard that a lot of customer db12's have fit and finish issues. The new vantages seem to do better though. I think it's most prolly getting the new assembly lines ready. Plus, Aston's haven't been the most reliable over the years. At the end of the day though, I hope they they can turn a new leaf with this new lineup of gorgeous cars.

There are some cars I think has too much hate: Lamborghini Temerario - Yeah gone is the V10 but give the V8 a chance. Also I think it still looks good imo it may look like the Tempesta but I think it still looks cool imo. I think the biggest hate over the years I have seen for Corvette wasn't so much the C8 but the transition from the C5 to C6 models. And the hate at the time was similar to your take on the BMW M2/M3/M4 where fans hated the grill. For Corvette their fans hated going away from the flip up head lights. But over time it grew on them.

The main reason the g80 big sniffers got so much hate initially was in my opinion, was because they went below the crash bar. Before that the kidneys never went below the crash bar before then. The pignose was a big change in design compared to the previous gens.

Honestly, most of all the car community hate could literally be reduced if it wasn’t for social media, sure it’s great everyone wants to be into cars and I’m all for that, but if you look at it, it’s mostly just trend hoppers that want to spread hate and make us long term car enthusiasts that have been in it for years look bad. Now I do admit, I was one of those people when I first got into the community and I assume most of the young car enthusiasts here were, but once you mature and understand the car scene more, you realize that all cars are great and that all these people are going through their trend phases, just give them time and they’ll understand.

lol I LOVED the G type M2 when it was new. Also keep in mind, to this day, I have NEVER seen G90 M5 in person, and every time I see an I5 M60 I look around if it’s a real M5. Also, the J29 Supra I enjoyed especially because it was based on another car I liked. The Z4 M40i. HOWEVER, I was one of the people who didn’t enjoy the design. I liked it when it came out, but then I realized the design was recycled and almost nothing new was on the exterior. However the interior made up for it 🤷🏻‍♂️

BMW: I honestly still think the predecessor looks better, but man do these stats impress. The fact that people compare an M4 Competition to an RS6 in terms of acceleration is crazy. Mustang: Drove the Dark Horse already. It may have a polarizing design but man it really is fun to drive if set up properly. Corvette: I honestly thought it's a great continuation of the C7, which already squeezed out that front engine layout to an extent where they couldn't really be faster anymore. And now that the ZR1 is coming out, who could possibly still hate this generation? This car is insane! Lamborghini: I'm no big fan of the design and the fact that it looks eerily similar to the shape of the Aventador, but other than that it's a really neat car. And a breath of fresh air in the times of turbocharged V6 and V8 engines. In some drag races you can't even hear the other car over that glorious V12. Supra: This one is an interesting case. It turned from a heavy GT that's just popular for its powerful engine into probably the best mid-range sports car you can get on the market. Fast, powerful, reliable, and looks wise it definitely has something to offer. Bugatti: Honestly, I'm no big Bugatti fan. I think they peaked with the Veyron Supersports, so the Tourbillon was honestly just a car to me. Nothing that really caught my attention that much, other than jumping from W16 to V16. McLaren: The W1 isn't ugly per se, but I think it's more or less a rehash of the P1. Which really isn't a bad thing, don't get me wrong, but nothing about the car screams special or unique to me. Just my point of view.

Bro the newest M5 and M5 Touring when I first saw it a few days ago (not in person) I thought the front looked a little silly. Then I watched a review of the M5 touring and apart from having way too much piano black plastic (any amount is too much) it quickly started growing on me. Takes a second to get used to but honestly I'm digging it - especially the touring, wagons are sick. Too bad it's out of my price range for now, though I'd rather get a different car that has a manual transmission, safer and easier to drive a manual than an auto.

The thing about the G90 M5 that baffles me is the fact that it literally weighs more than base spec RAM 1500s. Even if it's able to hide its weight, it's still ridiculous that it weighs that much to begin with. Was there really not a way to make a lighter hybrid system? Personal opinions no one asked for, feel free to tag me about your personal opinions - M3/4, I personally don’t like them, they aren’t bad cars but I don’t like the looks of the entire front (not just the grill) or the interior (I have a thing against the M steering wheel for some reason) - M5, the grill is arguably really good but I’m just not a fan of the rest of the shape or the headlights, pretty good car tho - Mustang, personally been a massive fan of the new Mustang since it came out, felt like a perfect continuation of the Mustang brand - C8, idk why but I was the opposite for the vette. I was a massive fan when it came out, however after seeing it in person my love for it kinda faded. this is due to a lot of factors with design, nothing to do with comparing it to old ones tho. However the Z06 and ZR1 are amazing imo - Revuelto, nothing to say on it really, I’ve always found it to be a good looking car and I love it. I think the front could use some work but overall amazing car. Similar opinion on the Temerario tbh, just needs a little work but great car. - Supra, great car overall, could care less it’s a BMW. I can’t say I love the hump on the front or back but that doesn’t take away my feelings for it - Tourbillion, this is my most controversial opinion but I dislike it. It just feels like they tried to much for me, looks like a concept Chiron that wasn’t made for production. It has outstanding performance numbers which I very much respect however I just can’t get over the design. sorry overall tho no hate to anyone and their opinions, just wanted to see if I could spark some conversations over the cars, lmk what you guys think

the hate for the f80 is so embarassing. people need to be happy ferrari even opted for another halo car. there isnt any whining about the f40 not having a v12 huh

That’s true they seem to forget that the F40 was also hated in its first year of release. It was hated for using a tiny TT V8 instead of a NA V12 saying it wasn’t a true Ferrari. People hated its square and boxy looks because every other Ferrari at the time were curves and circles and suddenly when it became the first 200 MPH car all the hate disappeared and it became a collectors item

When it comes to cars like the Ferrari F80, people are always over-exaggerating when it comes to a new engine that isn't "traditional" to that car. The V6 in the F80 isn't just some V6 Ferrari took out of some old Honda Accord, slapped a pair of twin turbos on, and bolted a hybrid system to. The V6 is from their race-derived 499P used at Le Mans and it has proven to be very capable, and so that's what they're doing with the F80, to show it's performance but in the body of a road-legal hypercar. As for vehicles like the G80 M3/M4 and M2, I feel like BMW sometimes intentionally makes questionable designs for their vehicles as a way to stir up controversy and shock value just for the benefit of it, which to me seems a bit cheap. I never was a hater or anything about those cars' looks, but I just wish BMW would just simply make the cars look fairly decent instead of introducing weird designs that just aren't good just because it gets people talking about them. There's just too much of this rage-baiting type of trend going on that people really need to stop gravitating towards just because "it works".

out of all of them, I still prefer the Aventador over Revuelto, i haven't seen the M3 in person but id rather have the 340i. I prefer the chiron look over the turbion, and i like the old Supra over the new one

Let me say this old cars somewhat were nicer than new cars. Would I mean by that is that visually personally I think they were more appealing and I think if they brought those back with new or technology they would make a lot more money.
