Do you think some people can exhibit these behaviors and do these things and honestly not think That they Aren't doing anything wrong? They feel what they are doing is OK. They don't realize it's a problem. Or do they know and are pretending not to

Bobby, it may have been modeled for you, parents can gaslight children too. Do you think it was your upbringing?

@@MaryJoRapini I think it's that I've never actually seen how my parents communicate. They do all their intimate communication away from us and they were in their 50's when they had children. The thing is they always seemed to have this deep unfathomable love and connection. So whenever I feel like I'm not providing or in that connection and my partner doesn't like what I'm saying it hurts so I always say that my actions are basically trying to make us both feel loved and heard but maybe I'm not actually listening and I'm more afraid that I'm not creating the deep mature love my parents seemed to possess?
