It's a shame but I see my self do all these things once in a while. Good to train myself before aksing my husband to change.

I would rather be alone a thousand times over then to be in the company of an abuser. To use one of Dr. Phil's sayings "thats nine miles of rough road that leads to nowhere".

I liked that statement this is not what I want right now and I am going to get what I want.

I am hearing both insight and compassion in your content and delivery-Thanks! The wounds of so many red flags missed, and of betrayal, are deep and open. Healing feels like a lifelong process arbitrarily defined as voluntary and involuntary. The former has to do with learning the truth of my situation, to align right thinking (perspective)with heart understanding; the latter has to do with faith in a process of growth increased only by God.
